Tired of all those childish .wavs that admins force you to download, just to play on their servers? Stuff like Beevis and Butthead making farting sounds or the Quake announcer yelling "GODLIKE" ? Then this pack is for you! It overwrites many of these wavs with silent sound files, so you don't have to hear those annoying addons. This is version two of the pack.

This radio voice pack compliments the combine soldier we already have on the site well. Each command has the Civil Protection radio bleep after speaking, and even events such as a Bomb being defused have an Overwatch radio file.

This pack replaces almost all weapon sounds in Counter-Strike: Source with firing sounds from BattleField 2. Almost all of them are a huge improvement over the unrealistic defaults. One or two are out of place, but you can navigate to the weapons folder and delete those that are undesirable. These were all recorded on a firing range so they are about as close to the real thing as you can get. Downsides, they might take some time getting used to, since they are so much for different then most of the weapon sounds you are used to hearing is CS. I am a realism freak, so I am using almost all of them. They really improve the atmosphere during a battle,

A realistic Army radio pack made by Kyrottimus, a CS Player with real US Military experience.
I like this pack because it isn't as 'cheesy' as the original radio sounds. These make you feel in the middle of a conflict, and the radio commands sound much more 'expressive'.
Great work Kyrottimus!

Tired of the standard gun sounds for Source? Well try these ones out, because they are certainly different and most of them are clearly better than the standard ones. I didn't like a few of them myself, but 80% of them were great. I think that they add alot to the atmosphere to the game.
Note: May overwrite custom sounds, backup before use

This sound pack has a small collection of sounds taken from the recently released SWAT 4 computer game. It is by no means a comprehensive pack that replaces every aspect of the game's sounds, but it does have a few good replacements. I mix and match my weapon sounds, and this pack has a few good ones in there, especially the reloading sounds. So while its not a huge release, it is worth sharing with the rest of the CS community.

About:
The soundpack I've complied are gunfire sounds I've extracted from the GRAW Demo, with edited audio properties so that Half-Life2 can recognize the audio file and play it properly. I find that these soundfx have much more full body to them which will really heighten one's counter-strike experience, especially if you're a quazi-realism freak. The only thing about these audio files is that compared to valve's default soundfx, they're not as loud, but they are much more realistic that truely complements the guns.
I recommend that this soundpack should be installed onto HL: Counter-Strike Source's default skin settings since the filenames associated with this soundpack may or may not work with the filenames associated with other custom skins. Of course this minor problem can be easly solved by manually cutting and pasting the audiofiles into the customskin's audio directory and then changing the filenames accordingly.
