This latest skin by Darkelfa is an attempt to 'redo' the default skin on the terrorist, and I personally think that's a brilliant idea, especially for those of you like me who don't like to venture too far from default colour schemes. Darkelfa's pulled it off brilliantly, it's high detailed and far superior to the default, yet at the same time not too radical. My only complaint is that it's missing the mouth hole in the balaclava, and the eyes look a bit strange, but that's just personal preference. Overall a must-have reskin, and I'm hoping that there will be more in this series.

This is one of Dark Elfa’s few entries into the skinning of the Terrorist model, and perhaps the best one out there. The camouflage patterns are very believable and the desert/woodland combo gives the skin a quality that can be used on either type of environments. The vest is perhaps the most outstanding part of this release. This skin has done the best job redoing the layout of the vest, replacing the ugly single pouch with believable magazine pouches. The ones at the top are only two dimensional due to the model, but are believable from a distance. This version of the skin has a balaclava mask which fits valve’s model better than the other version. This skin is a must to have.

This is the 3rd Metal Gear Solid series reskin by DarkElfa. This edition once again shows DarkElfa's skill for reskinning the player models. This skin is much like the last MGS terror skin, except it has a new camo and a mouth hole in the face mask, which some may like more than just the eye hole that was on the last version. Now that the new Terrorist model has been relased, it will be interesting to see what Elfa has in store for the MGS series skins.

As the title says, this is a remake of the Ex-Military Mercenary for the new Terrorist model. The only real difference in the skin is that the ski mask is black instead of the original woodland camouflage. I rated this lower than the original not because of the skin, but more so because the new model just isn't great. The new vest looks good, but the skin's camo doesn't match is as great as with the old model. Good news though, as DarkElfa has fixed the hairy arms with new normal maps and gotten ride of the "lipstick" lips that the default had. Do note that this change is not shown in the picture.

For anyone who plays Battlefield 2 you will instantly recognize this as a MEC soldier. For those of you who don't know about the game the MEC forces (Middle-Eastern Coalition) are one of the sides you can play as in the ME campaigns. I could almost say that this actually looks better than some of the MEC player models in BF2, and the camo of color scheme fit right in on desert CSS maps. Matching this up against DarkElfa's US Desert CT in battle looks absolutely great. Even in other environments this skin is pretty capable of fitting in.

Here is another MGS skin that has been brought back to life on the new Terrorist model. Pretty much everything has been preserved or redone. The camouflage itself just doesn't seem to have quality as it did before though. The rest of the reskin is fine though, and I would like to point out that the jeans are very nicely done. Hopefully we will see some more MGS skins being brought back from the dead soon.

Darkelfa did a great job with this. This terrorist skin is one of the best skins i've seen so far for the new Phoenix Connection Skin. The things that make this skin so perfect is of course, the high detailed work. And the reflecting armor. It's like he is wearing a real metal vest, the long sleeves aren't bad too. And the mouth has been reskinned. So it gives you a real tactical feeling with a full mask. The gloves are cool too. They are nice detailed. Well, this skin is gonna stay for a while in my cstrike folder.

This is the second release in DarkElfa's line of Metal Gear Solid skins. From what I understand he is trying to recreate many of the unique camouflage patterns found in that series of games. This is the first Terrorist reskin. A lot of the skin is familiar, the vest is identical to the one found on his excellent Balaclava merc, only now it is black instead of a woodland pattern. The ski mask covers all but the eyes, which in my opinion is more menacing than with the mouth exposed. The camo pattern is unique, but likable. The jeans and boots are outstanding too. The only part I was a little concerned about were the forearms, although I can't think of a better choice of colors for that region. In conclusion this skin is great, and if you didn't like the color scheme of the Mercenary then try this out.

Here is another great "reborn" Darkelfa skin. Although the original was on the same T model, one of the updates made it a no-no to have env_cube maps and such on skins due to some exploit. Even with this newer one, which lacks the extreme chrome finish of the last one, it is still just as great as the day Darkelfa first released it.

One of the biggest loses to the skinning community happened when the new terrorist model was released. All of those excellent skins for the old model were suddenly obsolete. Indeed, you could switch back the models, but even that became all but impossible once the new world animations were patched to CS. Now you would have to revert to the old animations as well if you wanted to use these skins, and some people, including me, never went through the trouble to do so. Now someone has gone through the trouble of bringing some of Darkelfa's finest skins back to life and with great sucess they have done so with this skin. The skin is practically the same in some parts, but the new model has given the Swamp terror skin a new look. I personally like the change, the only thing that seems to have been hurt in the transition is the radio, its a little overstretched, but other than that, the reskin offers basically everything the original did.
