The base for the skin is outstanding, and the recolor for the outfit is close enough to the original without making it ugly and plain like valve's skin. US Marine Force Recon

The normal maps here really improve the appearance of the skin, which for the most part is a gray color that just would not look too appealing without the custom mapping. The only part of the new map that was disconcerting was the helmet, which on the top looks like someone took a chunk out of it. The woodland camouflage on the vest complements the gray pretty well. In conclusion, this reskin is great and the new bump mapping is a good bonus and works pretty well in most environments because it has no real distinct camouflage pattern. The original idea the author had was to mix 2 kinds of camo together, and the result certainly is somthing special. The choices go nicely together, and the level of detail is pretty impressive. As you can see, this skin is clearly themed for desert type settings, and so obviously goes very well with the Dust maps. This digital camo is supposed to be themed towards jungle foilage, such as in de_aztec. Even out of the jungle environment this reskin still works pretty well. By no means is it an aztec only skin.
