The Sig Sauer is not the most exciting gun to look at, but the model still passes for adding as much detail as possible. This release has a few different skins, each have something different to offer. The best visual improvement in my opinion are the new reflection maps, they add a new dimension to the gun. Considering there's already been a review of this model and skin in the dual Beretta Elites section, I'll recap briefly the features for this review. This release comes with all skins from the Elites release, as well as a new silver slide and body with wooden grip, as pictured to the bottom left, top left being the silver slide and body with normal grip. Again, as with the Elites, the detail is stunning, the metal texture looks truly amazing, and the reflect maps really are the best on any weapon I've seen to date. The other high points for this release though come in the form of Strykerwolf's GO animations, which I think are really very good, however I don't think they fit the P228 well, and would in my opinion be more suitable for somthing along the lines of a deagle, but that's just me. The sounds that come with the animations are also very good, sharp, crisp, and don't stand out too much from the defaults. The model is great, I am not sure if its the way that it is held or if its just the quality of the model itself, but it looks alot better than the previous p226 models released for source. The skin is what really sets it off for me. The silver slide with black grip looks perfect. The reflect maps really add to the all around quality of the release. The animations are good as well, I used to think that the origins were too close but they don't bother me so much anymore so no complaints there. This skin *should* have working world models. The model is big and detailed. The skin is simple, but not too plain, but the reflect maps make it much much better. The animations are outstanding, no complaints from me as both hands hold the pistol and the origins are not too close or low. The CZ52 suffers from what I call easterneuropeansovietdesigninitus (yes... I made that up). This gun is an old czech weapon that was built on the concepts of practicality and reliablility, not as eyecandy. In other words, it gets the job done, just like the kalashnikov series of weapons. Despite the weapons appearence, its still an amazingly well done skin. The model is clean and pretty close to the real deal. The skin is outstanding. The quality of the skin alone make this gun worth a download. Animations are good, but the reload seems to be too quick, as the hand reaches and pull out the spent magazine it almost instantaniously grabs another magazine and jams it in. The origins are very close to the face, but nothing I can't live with. Some people may dislike this gun because it is undoubtably a "plain" looking pistol, but I try to grade based not on the weapon that is being virtualized into CSS, but on the quality of the work of the people involved in its creation for our enjoyment, and here, the quality of work is very well done. Some of you may disagree with me, but thats why we have a user review system, nomatter how rediculous the logic is behind some people's responses. Oh did I mention that it has world models? The model is nothing outstanding, but is not by any standards bad. The skin is once again nothing outstanding but not bad. It just seems to be a bit cartoony although the skin I tested was the silver skin, and there is a black skin that could be of differing quality. The animations are good, but the origins are awfully close to the face. If you are looking to replace the p228 with a beretta then this is what you need, but I am not sure that there are many other reasons to use this release. The model is excellent, no real detail issues there. The skin is pretty good, but the slide and hammer just seem to be missing something for me, perhaps some wear and tear? Scratches and such. The animations are Strykerwolf's from the Ghost Ops mod. I like them, they seem to do everything right, but the way the finger moves to the trigger during the draw animation seems unnatural to me. The custom sounds are good as well, I especially like the firing sound. There are also world models for this gun. I like this pistol, but the skin is a little too clean for my taste. Many of you may know of this as the "James Bond Pistol." To start, overall, it is a generally nice looking gun, complete with 2 skin variants. The model, made by Hav0c, looks very nice. It's sleek, stylish, and stealthy; Exactly how Bond would have wanted it. As for the skins, they were created by the_tub, and may I say they're quite detailed and look rather nice in game. The reflections are ever so subtle, which in my opinoin is perfect for this gun. Like I said before, there are two skin variants to the model. I prefer the silver opposed to the black. The animations are ones that we have all seen before: Strykerwolf's. One thing this replacement has that sticks out is the laser, while some will like it, others will undoubtedly hate it, but really it doesn't get in the way too much so isn't really such a big deal. It is lacking world models though, which hurts the release, but besides that, this is a pretty nice release overall. For all those Bond fans, you'll love it. For the rest of us give it a try. QUAD/Reason P228 + GO anims

This P228 features 3 skin versions (twotoned, black, and blue), world models, and the excellent new Strykerwolf/GO animations. The first thing that should be said in this review is that the skins are reasonably good, and the choice of version is definitely an added bonus, bound to suit everyones tastes. Unfrotunately though they also seem to have a little bit of aliasing which will reduce the score. The second thing I should mention is that for a P228 compact, this weapon looks a bit big on-screen, however that is a problem of the animations, which brings me onto the third point. They are very good, however I really don't think they fit the P228 at all, aside from making it appear too large, they also just seem too make a 9mm compact pistol feel too powerful. But if you want a slightly beefier, nice looking P228 this should satisfy you. Review & Submission by Elanzer

The model is Bullet_Head's, and the name is synonymous with the quality; superb. The black skin is not up to par with model, but another skin is supplied if you wish to use that instead. The animations are fairly good, although I don't like the origins on them or how the pistol is handled one-handed, but it does not detract from the final score.
