I could never see it as a M4A1 replacement, being as big as it is, but as an AUG it fits in perfectly. It looks and acts the part of a full size assualt rifle. This version is an update of the one that we had on the site earlier and includes numerous improvements: Turbosmoothed stock and foregrip, an extended foregrip (due to newer hitbox limits), and new normal maps for the aforementioned parts and a new world model. Also noticible is the reflect map on the optics. The custom sound is wonderfully powerful too, mimics a real M16 quite nicely. Only negatives to this gun are simple consmetic issues, and the animations. Why the hand holds the magazine and not the foregrip I do not know. Review & Submission by Milkman

For that I am sorry, because this is a very nice replacement, and may quell some of the cries for G36's in Counter-Strike Source. The G36 model is good, heck I like it even more than the G36C in Battlefield 2. There are two versions, one with a scope and one without, so noone can complain about their being no scope for a scoped gun. The skin is good, seems accurate enough to the real thing, but realism aside, its still a good skin. Animations are default I assume, so no comment there. In conclusion I would say its a worth replacement, especially if you are looking for a G36 varient. Note: Follow the Readme closely to properly install the two model varients for this release. It is definitely a change from a standard Aug, with an armalite rail, built in suppressor and a new optic. This gun has great potential but fails to deliver a few things to make it worthy of a better score. First off, even though it is suppressed, there is no custom sound for it. Second, no normal or reflect maps, which would have really made this otherwise plain model a little more attractive. However, world models are included. Review & Submission by Milkman

It's high poly and tight. The skin feels great and the scope is ok but could be a bit better but other than that its a good choice only downfall is theres no world models, but its still a useable and deadly weapon.
Real AUG

It is not likely that you will see a skin of this quality and realism from any other skinner. The beige-vanilla color in this skin is as close as you can get to the real thing. Enjoy!

A little more unique than a Colt issue armalite, this LR-300 has a different feel to it. The model good, although it is mostly hidden from the placement of the hand on the receiver. The scope has been turbosmoothed, and looks better than the original release. The skin looks good enough, but lacks reflect maps on the body of the weapon, although the scope does have one. The animations are good, except for the idle placement of the hand on the gun. It would have looked much better holding the foregrip. This compile does not have world models like the one in the Sg552 section, other than that it is basically the same release, its just replaces a different weapon. Review & Submission by Milkman
Improved AUG

While it's hard to tell from the screenshot, the main changes are a cleaned up body with all of the ugly scratches removed, and a new darker blue/grey colour scheme. It may not sound like much, but this is one of the best reskins of the default model you can currently find. give it a download if you're not too fond of replacement AUG models. The black AUG is somewhat rare, but it is still nice to put in your arsenal for a good terrorist ass-kicking.

This has been done, but I believe that it could have been done better. The model is Ankalar's, no real issue there other than the selector switch on "safe," just a nitpick there. The m203 is hard to see, but looks good as well. The skin is a bit plain, but fine nonetheless. Animations, this is where I felt let down, as the left hand is holding the gun in a bizarre fashion. My hope was that they would have the hand under the M203 grip like I would have expected. This was compiled without world models, which would have been nice to show off the m203. Why this was compiled for the AUG baffles me, considering this is a carbine with no scope. Review & Submission by Milkman
