I've been waiting for this release a long time, and my god does it deliver. If you liked Lama's previous SOCOM, I think this may just be your permenant USP replacement, I know it will be mine, and here's why: First of all the model, it's high-poly and feels great in-game. The skin by Furious, like all his other skins, is also very realistic and detailed, and bears resemblance to real metal. It should also be noted this skin is much cleaner than on the previous Mk.23, and so will please all of you who thought the other was a little rough around the edges. It also contains reflect and normal maps. Now you're probably thinking 'does this gun have anything wrong with it?' and the answer is yes, sadly it does. The animations by Hav0c (Top left) although pretty detailed just feel a little weak and slightly uncomfortable to use, especially the silencer and reload, this is not to say they are bad, but to some of you they may just think they're a bit sloppy. However this has just been updated with Strykerwolf's (Bottom left) which although not brilliant, are far better than Hav0c primary animations. Overall, I can honestly say if there was such thing as perfect, this would be labelled it, for now it will have to be the next best thing. I'll say it again, this is the best USP replacement you will likely ever find. Download it, now.
Note: Now updated with Strykerwolf anims! Also includes normal maps that can be used on the silencer and gun instead of reflects.

He were have another Beretta, but a good one it is. The model is excellent, alot of detail in the grip and slide. The skins are fantastic, definitly the best part of the release. The way they shine and portray metal is oustanding, real top notch work. The animations are where this release hits a bumpy road. While applying the silencer, it screws on, but on a larger axis that the actual barrel. So it makes a wider loop than it should. I am not a fan of Strykerwolf's USP animations; one handed, twirling, trigger finger sticking out, they are just not for me. The sounds are good though, and world models were included, although they don't work since the update. All in all its a great replacement, the deciding point will be if you like berettas or if you like the animations.
Note: Follow the Readme closely to properly install the skins for this release.

There's really only one way to explain this concept - It's basically the bastard child of a 1911 and a HK USP. Strange? Yes, it is. But you'd be wrong in thinking that this concept is at all bad. The model is excellent, and the idea couldn't of been pulled off better than it has. the skin by NZReason is also high quality, and although it does indeed have a bit of aliasing it's not enough to negatively impact the experience of using this replacement. The animations by Hav0c have been seen before, and although at first I originally didn't like them they have been tweaked a bit and reorigined, the result being they are much, much better and a joy to use. At the end of the day the chances of this weapon or anything similar appearing in reality is very low, but thanks to videogames, you have the opertunity to enjoy it right now, and I'm certain you will. Includes world models and normals.

This skin is very nice. Ank and Thor's USP has been many a person's favourite for quite some time now, and it just got better. Strykerwolf's animations really make this a quality USP, the silencer anims really make a change from others, spinning rather than screwing it onto the barrel. There's also new sounds, and like the rest of the replacement - they are of top quality, and really pack a punch. World models are also included, making this package definitely one of our best USPs available. The only let down is the skin 'shimmers' slightly as most of the detail is modelled on instead of skinned, but this is no big deal. Definitely a worthy USP replacement.

Ever since I got a chance to handle one of these in real life I have loved them, and this release here has done the best job recreating a USP compact that I have seen in CS: Source. The model is incredibly detailed. This particular skin shows off the gun better than the all black version. The normal maps are minimal, but work to great affect. The silver slide shimmers convincingly. This pistol also has world models and custom sounds.

I was always a fan of Lama's MK23, and now I've found this there's no turning back for me. Jens anims have been added to it, instantly making this replacement very addictive, and fun to use. Also added is a LAM model, which really gives the gun a 'specialised' feel that the CT weapons needed. As always, with new animations come new sounds, and they fit the model perfectly and are of high quality.
Unfortunately, there's no shininess on the model, no world model, and the skin looks a little rough around the edges. But besides that, brilliant.

This is the same Kimber SWAT as found in the Desert Eagle section but compiled for USP instead. The only two differences are the use of Strykerwolf's animations, and the suppressor, which wasn't included in the other release for obvious reasons.

This USP has seen a couple of incarnations now, this though is probably the communities favourite. If you want more information read some of the other reviews featuring Silvio Dante's USP. The main new component here is Lonewolf's skin, which by the way is excellent, the render was almost photorealistic. In game though I can't say the same, although it's still very good the lighting on the silver slide just looks a bit off, but compensates with some reasonably good ref maps so not all is lost. Give it a try if you like silver USPs. Another point to note about this release is that it comes with 4 animation versions - default, strykerwolfs, hav0cs, and jenns. Spoilt for choice really. Remember to refer to the readme is you're inept at installing skins.
Note: Follow the Readme closely to properly install the animation variants for this release.

This USP has already seen releases before in various sections on the site, and today we have yet another addition to the USP section with this tactical addition. Basically the only changes from other releases are a tweaked skin and added LAM unit, but they do provide a lot of change. As mentioned in other reviews this is a very nice little model, it's well detailed and for all purposes does what it's meant to without any issues, the skin is reasonably good, but to me has a little too much aliasing to be considered brilliant. Interestingly enough, the animations by Hav0c which I used to consider only average have been combined with some new origins, and personally I think the result is they are the most preferable USP animations around for now, and get no complaints from me. Now, for the most important addition to this release, the laser. I myself don't find it being a great addition, I think it looks tacky but in game it's actually easy to ignore once you've gotten used to it, so not such a big deal, but you fans of gimmicky extras will love it no doubt. Overall the best release of this USP model to date, but I have a feeling the added laser will make or break it for most people.
Note: This release contains 2 skin variants, see readme for instructions.

Alright, I'll just start off rather generally. Very nice release. To me, it stands out rather nicely among the other M9's, and brings back fond memories of Metal Gear Solid 2. Like alot of models I've seen recently, it comes with two skin variants. The model, made by Spyder, is rather accurate, and is the perfect size for a baretta in my opinoin. The skin is nice and is rather detailed. Something I noticed however, was that there are no threads for the silencer to go on. This means the silencer has nothing to keep itself attached! The silencer is a bit large as well, however it dosen't take much away from the gun. The animations are Hav0c's, and the sounds are new and sound great. One main gripe I have is that the skin seems to have some aliasing problems. Other than that, it's quite a nice release and one of the better M9's out there so far.
