The model by Lama as usual is top quality and high poly, and the skin by Furious is as usual, pure excellence with no aliasing whatsoever. Some pretty tasty reflect maps and world models are also included in the package. My only issue I could have with this replacement (And indeed the only reason this shouldn't get an outright 10) is that the thumb is awkwardly placed and looks a little odd. But in conclusion, the fact this has been given this the highest score for an M4 says it all. You will not be disappointed, you will not remove it easily, and you may never even remove it at all. The reason being this version makes more sense to me as the previous favourite had an RIS system, but nothing actually on it, at the same time this standard also looks better. The reciever is of ankalar's excellent design. The rest of the gun looks great, but I still have a minor bone to pick with the gun. One, the selector switch is on safe, with all the releases that have been done, why has noone bothered to change it? Secondly, the area where the stock meets the receiver is a little low poly. Finally, the barrel isn't as long as a normal M16's but I have learned that this is to make the suppressor animations fit correctly, so no points deducted for this, or really any other things I mentioned. The skin is great, not really much to say about it other than it works. The animations are new to me, and I really like them. What always bothered me about Jennifer's M4 animations was the reload. There was alot of movements that didn't make sense or served no purpose, but in these animations the hand presses the magazine release and pulls out the mag, slaps a new magazine in and grabs the foregrip once again, and not much else. There are custom sounds, but only for the reload and deploying animations, so if you want a good firing sound, your going to have to look elsewhere. To top it off, this release has world models. Those of you who know Ankalar and CJ's M4 will feel right at home with this replacement, as much of the model is based off the original version. However this release includes a rail interface system, or RIS, on the foregrip and a foldable stock, and to me those little extras make all the difference. The stock (pictured to the left) gives it a degree of uniquity, as many releases feature a solid stock, so seeing this one in action makes things a bit more interesting. Anyway, on with the important parts - The package includes some subtle reflect maps, world models, and the well-known custom animations by Jennifer!!. Also let it be known that these are a new version of the M4 animations, so if you tried them a long time ago and didn't like them, give these a try as they are far superior to those released previously. I think this makes the model look much more powerful, and interesting to use. And when you take one of the best M4 replacements available and add this, this is what you get. A "creme de la creme" skin which should be located on every CSS skin user's PC around the world. The reflections of the Acog looks great, you can really see what kind of environment you're running through. The authors have really created a beast with this model. So here's the original review of the rest of the weapon: I'm suprised this M4 was released, it spent a long time in WIP so I was shocked to suddenly see it appear out of nowhere, and the fact some brilliant new animations by Jennifer debut on this release makes it even better. The model by Soul Slayer is excellent, the high polycount certainly works in it's favour and everything is very smooth and well detailed. Thanez yet again proves his skill at creating dark skins, which adds to the detailed feel this M4 already has. Lastly, the animations by Jennifer I just love. Despite them being a simple mag in, mag out, bolt catch depress they are still very good, and in my opinion the best M4 anims released yet. They're also special due to the fact there are different reloads for silenced and unsilenced - a first as far as I know - which helps keep them from getting boring. the only issue with them are when spinning the silencer on, it does stop and change direction unnaturally, luckily though it isn't too noticeable. Overall this should be a very popular M4, give it a try. World models and reflective normal maps included. Update 2: Textures now fixed, world models now work correctly. The model is higly detailed, the skin looks fantastic and the animations are excellent. I don't need to do much explaining for this release, the picture should hopefully do that. If you have any further questions, download it. You will not be dissapointed with this gun. The only valid argument I could see with this is that you don't like LR-300s, and thats about it.
