Finally, a Glock replacement that's not a Glock. To cut straight to the point, the good things about this Beretta is the fact it's not a Glock, the animations are default and not crazy spinny/flippy/exaggerated/robotic, and that the skin is nicely done, despite how unrealistic it looks. The bad points however are higher in number. It has no reflect maps, no normal maps, and bizarre world models that make the gun always land on it's rear, pointing upwards. Other problems include heavy moire patterns and some aliasing with the grooves on the side of the gun, along with the sounds it comes with being the default of the Berettal Elites, and for me doesn't quite seem to work right when firing in burst mode. If you can look past these issues, it's definitely a refreshing release for anyone who wants a change from the normal.

This is a weapon previously for CS 1.6 ported to source by Mullet & Darkelfa, and I must say to them very well done, however this weapon is not without its niggly bits. While it has been revamped nicely with reflect maps and world models, the model is still quite low-poly and the skin substandard. It also feels very chunky to use, and is distinctly 'un-glocky' so to speak, more of a USP or deagle replacement. This is not to say this replacement is bad at all, just ill-suited to its role, but by all means if you like chunky glocks you'll love this.

Adding to our already extensive collection of supurb glock replacements is Bullet_head's glock 18. The model high poly and looks great ingame. The skin looks good too, little or no errors there. Different skins are included for those who do not like the silver slide, make sure to read the small tutorial included if you plan on changing the skin. The animations are simple, but the reload animation bugs me. The left hand pulls out the magazine and loads in the fresh magazine so quickly that it looks like its the same one that was just pulled out. No delay as if searching for the extra magazine in a pouch. No custom sounds, but world models are included.

A slightly different Glock replacement here, this is the compact Glock 27, personally I would of thought it more suitable to the P228 but oh well. First off let me say this is a first model release for Little Girl, and even though he was helped and the model tweaked by Twinke, it still makes a decent first release. The model is reasonable, but there's really not all much that positive to say due to some issues caused by the models size. These issues basically are that the hand gripping the weapon is too 'long' for the tiny grip, as well as some clipping. Another issue comes in the form of Hav0c's animations, although there's nothing wrong with them, when you take into account the size of this weapon, the magazine in animation appears to make the magazine hover up into place on it's own, which is fairly annoying. Anyway, onto other aspects of the skin, the 2 textures by Twinke do their job, but to me aren't that impressive due to the fact the dark slide is really light grey, and not all that different from the silver. It also suffers a lot of aliasing, which is unsightly. Apart from that, includes reflects and world models.

A good all-round replacement. This replacement has very high detail, and it looks great when you are walking around the map with it. Because of its bump-mapping, the gun reflects light in a very realistic way.
A good replacement if you are looking for a high-quality replacement with added realism.

Here is another glock by Wannabe, and a clean one at that... this skin is plain, clean, and slick... not to 'in your face'.
This is a very nice thing to have in any replacement, and it works in its favour.

Although not one of Wannabe's best skin, this glock still adds some realism at least. If you're looking at making your glock a little more realistic than the default this is the one for you... It's not amazing, but better than the default!
