They look like 1.3 world model renders with bad jpeg compression. Luckily a good man going by the name of MrFriendly has taken it apon himself to create renders of the finest custom guns and replace valve's ugly ones with these. Although this is not exactly the biggest release in history, it is something that improves another element of Counter-Strike Source, and I live by the motto that anything better is worth using. Accurate Weapon Names with Edited Scoreboard

Overall, a great job of changing the hud, and definatley an essential for all those realism freaks out there ;)

Half-Life 2 Ragdolls

That quickly wore off though, and I began seeing falacies in the ragdoll system in counter-strike. Bodies were stiff, barely reacted to bullets hitting them, and the variety of death positions was limited, in many cases two guys could die right next to each other and look exactly the same. It brought back memories of the old CS, and I didn't like that. When garry's mod came out, people began noticing another issue; the CS ragdolls don't accelerate when falling, they do not transfer momentum. Basic physics here, nothing amazing, but the HL2 models, they did all of this and more, so someone got the bright idea of swapping out the physics models and that is what we have here. I didn't know shooting a enemy player with a sniper rifle or a shotgun could be so amusing. Headshots send players almost head over heels, a shotgun at close range slams a person into a ground. The reactions are sometimes almost rediculous though. I once witnessed a CT get shot at close range with a XM1014, and he flew about 4 meters into the air. One headshot I dealth landed the enemy on his head, with one of his legs sticking straight into the air. A few quirks aside, I like it, its enjoyable and breaths new life into counter-strike source. Kimber Pack v1.3

This pack replaces all of the pistols with kimber variations. For example the kimber for glock has a longer magazine to imply that it can carry the 20 rounds like the glock does. All the models have some variation to them. The animations on the weapons for the most part are good, although some of the origins are rather close and a few of the firing animations are very choppy. The default skin is good, but the silver gets dull after some use, and that is why the author included over 6 more different skins that can replace the default. In conclusion, this pack is well done, but for those who don't want to sacrifice their entire pistol selection for a few kimber variants might want to stay away, or just install the ones that you like the most.
