	Steel's Colt 1911 + Quad's anims Official Score » 9.0 Member's Score » 9.4 Here is the Second Deagle replacement of the day; Steel's Colt M1911A1. The Colt .45 is a no-thrills design, and yet still a very elegant pistol. The model reflects this well. There are four skins to choose from, whether it be matte black or chrome, simple steel finish, or for the more adventerous, Gold plating. Good use of ref maps also enhance this handgun. Quad's animations feel like they were made just for this gun. All the animation sequences are lively and show off the great model. Although no custom sounds are credited, there indeed custom sounds. I have never heard the firing sound before, but I love it with this pistol. World models included. Note: Follow the Readme closely to properly install the skin varients for this release. ahhh the 1911 .45 probally the only good COLT weapon ever made (as in: the m4 has the same probs as m16 which mean they both suck).... this is the greatest model of a colt yet and the skins are top notch great work on this nice to see new sounds instead of the kimber sounds that plauge every other realease and i really do think that this realease deserves a 10

Unlike what S.E.R.T said, the 1911 was actualy designed by Browning and sold to Colt and the M4/M16 are made by Armotech and were only produced by Colt. But anyway's, cool skin, Im downloading.

This is a very well done skin but the only problem i have with it is that it gets a little old after a while. other than that it is an awesome skin and i definatly recomment it

Excellent weapon. Bold, powerful, smooth. Attention Skinners: One big problem Custom models, no custom world textures to go with them. Maybe you guys forgot.

(If you cant be arsed to read the below, basically the skin works nicely for the first few weeks, then you tend to swop back to an older deagle model you were using) At first this is a nice skin, decent sounds, slow kick back action helps you to aim more than spray random bullets alike your counter parts aka team m8s/enemies. Though as time passes on, this is a colt, 9 times out of 10 you would pick up another pistol rather than a colt if the selection was yours. i.e. to explain what angle im coming at, it seems out of place with the modern weapon inventory. As you use the gun more and more you notice problems. The skins a bit plain and it does not give that bad boy skin (doesnt look as it matches the damage output).

This skins are beautiful and really something to look at. The firing sound is kinda odd at first but gives you an old school feeling which is great in it's own way. The slow kick back does help you aim better like the person above stated BUT is a rather hard to get into if your a deagle abuser since the feel is different. While there are 4 skins, only one world model shows up which is also bad since the default skin is rather dull. The reloading animations get old pretty quick since there are other guns from this site that abuse that reload style. Other than that, well worth the download if you want something different and old school.

i thought this gun was going to be weak and stuff so i didnt download it for like ever. but then like 3 days ago i tryed it out and i was like, OMG its the best deagle skin ever.
