I have 3 excellent choices for desert eagle replacements lined up ready for reviewing. The first being, the Smith & Wesson .44 magnum. Made famous from the "Dirty Harry" films of the 70's, this handgun is a montster, and a perfect replacement to the desert eagle. The model is nothing too fancy, revolvers are not exactly the most intricate weapons ever devised. The skin is fine, but I would like to have seen a black polished version as well, chrome revolvers (or in this case, flat aluminum, no real ref maps) aren't my favorite, and when compared to the closest gun, the HL2 colt python, the skin just doesn't match up with it. This gun uses Jennifer's revolver animations, no real complaint there except the gun is held one handed, but not worth degrading for that. Sounds are fine as well, I find the reload related ones to be the finest. Worlds models included. Update: New skins added! the version they had of this on cdg had 4 different skins: black and silver, and wood or black handle. so you can have your black gun :D.

I'm giving this a 9 just because I love Dirty Harry, but as my everyday deagle, I'll have to pass.

I liked the other revolver skin, but always thought that it needed more detail. Now this solves my problem! I love it!

good modle and skin, but they're only 6 bullets, like in supermarket, buy 6- get 7 :]

I'm a big fan of revolvers (especially in chrome) so this gun match's up with my interest. I myself love the Desert Eagle in game but i don't care for its looks much, so this is a very good replacement. seeing it held in one hand is a little weird but then again it is smaller then the original Deagle and i have seen people shooting revolvers one handed... not accurately. I think I will be using this gun for a while unless I can find something else this good here or fpsbanana

Very nice skin, very accurate and consistant with the real m629. I'd like to see one with a black finish like the original 'dirty harry'..that would also include walnut grips.

aaaawesome skin! BUT.. I am having problems with the sounds. I hear the shots but i dont hear it when i reload or spin the clip. What can i do to fix this? I am positive i have placed everything in their corresponding areas. Thanks in advance
