	Funth's QBZ-95/97 Official Score » 8.4 Member's Score » 8.8 It takes alot of dedication and hard work to create just a model, but to also uvmap, skin, animate and compile a gun is almost unheard of, but thats what we have here. Compared to the other QBZ in the section, the model looks better, and the skin, while inaccurate to the real gun, looks better than if it was skinned to be realistic. There is really nothing exciting about the real QBZ's synthetic body, so the inaccuracy in this skin is forgivable. The animations are interesting, and by that the reload animation is pretty intertaining. When reloading, the character takes out the magazine and throws it into the air and then grabs a new one. Odd yes but nothing buggy about it. The one bug is with the origins in combination with the animations. When the gun is drawn the "end" of the arms (by this, I mean where there are no polygons) is exposed. That is something that needs fixing. Custon sounds are not present, I really can't think of a reliable source for a firing sound for this gun other than Battlefield 2, but apparently using sounds from other games in compiles is against the end user agreement. So, with that out of the way, this compile is good but needs a few tweaks here and there. I am not much of a Famas user so what I use as a replacement is not something I am concerned about, but for those who do use it, you minus well try this compile out and see if it is to your liking. Almost forgot to mention; this skin has world models. Note: Follow the Readme closely to properly install the two model varients for this release. Great model and it's good too see some anims that arn't crap. I'm just not a fan of the scratches on the skin. It looks out of place.

I love this famas skin without the scope. The animations are awesome. The only things I would like it to have are new sounds and get rid of the scratches.

no, it doesnt look like it, anyway, it is very nice. i love it, it will stick w/ me for a while. its hard to do the entire model urself (compile, animate, skin all that stuff) why cant the world model not have a scope???

very good animations and model i love the wearing of the metal look its awesome very cool skin and i just get a good feeling with it...it seems eazier too pick off enemys and get headshots i was kikn butt with this gun but it prolly has nothing to do with the model or skin but oh well its sweet

Very nice! Anims and skin are awesome but my one gripe is that the weapon is a bit tall. I'd like the bit over the koching lever to be a little lower if possible and I also don't like that horrible sight on the end of the barrel. Bleuch!

The reload is quite weird but comical at first seeing it. I was familiar with this gun to begin with because BF2: MC for the consoles uses it as a assault class main weapon, with a functional scope. No custom sounds put the rating down a bit
