The very basic way to describe this gun is, a G3 machinegun edition, and it really is fun to use as it sounds. Absolutely no complaints about the model, very nicely detailed and a refreshing change from the boring old Para. The 2 skins by NZ Reason are also top notch, everything from the transparent panel in the back of the magazine to the grooves on the foregrip has detail, no aliasing, high quality, excellent. As I said before there's 2 skin variants, which are pretty much the same apart from the secondary non-default one (Top left) has a darker look, with less 'silver bits', follow the readme for instructions on how to change to it if needed. The last point about this release is Hav0cs animations, they fit the weapon perfectly, and you guessed it - no problems there either. The only thing that could be classed as a downside is lack of reflect or normal maps, but considering they aren't really required with a largely synthetic weapon it's not a big deal. Overall, best M249 replacement to date, enjoy. Note: Follow readme for info on how to change skin variants. A bit small-looking, and the chain looks kinda "too-straight" (chain doesn't move about in between bullets or something like that), funny to me. Maybe I'm just a realism nut or I'm too picky about my skins :D On a side note the box is kinda hidden from view. really great skin nevertheless, using it :D:D where's the Global Operations CD... this might work great with their HK21 sounds, too bad they ain't stereo though.

the machinegun version is a g3 convert, the HK21 ( 7.62)and hk23 (5.56), both replaced with the better E versions with the synthetic trigger group and better barrels. Where did you get Gr 9?

Didnt like it one bit, its a mp5 used as a machine gun, hell why not put a glock instead. Thought im impressed that it pulled off the shape, it did feel as if it was big and demanding.

dread, in real life it's not an mp5, it's more of a G3: http://stu.inonu.edu.tr/~e0499463/s7.JPG this is a nice model but the barrel is a bit too short. should have been longer to gain that edge over the mp5 :)

Fantastic skin, no faults in my opinion. And it resembles the MP5 because it, along with the MP5, was derived from the G3 assault rifle. Most of H&K's weapons are linked to the G3, which really is a testament to it's greatness. :P

The best para replacement, this monster is a wondeful gun for the player who tires of the standard para. This gun really feels like a machine gun when you open up. I heartily recommend it.

Very cool. Nice and big makes it feel like a gun that is just meant to pour lead into an enemy. I didnt like how the weapon seems almost cel-shaded. Also the bullets in the chain seem too round and dont look like LMG type...

this is it. my permanent parra replacement. this thing is flawless in every way. only slight issue is that the barrel seems a bit short, but if it was long then it wouldnt look right.
