Yes, this is the same gun as the one in the Sg552 section, nothing different except the weapon it replaces, so the review stays:
This has been released for some time now, but for whatever reason, I have not got around to reviewing it and submitting it here. For that I am sorry, because this is a very nice replacement, and may quell some of the cries for G36's in Counter-Strike Source. The G36 model is good, heck I like it even more than the G36C in Battlefield 2. There are two versions, one with a scope and one without, so noone can complain about their being no scope for a scoped gun. The skin is good, seems accurate enough to the real thing, but realism aside, its still a good skin. Animations are default I assume, so no comment there. In conclusion I would say its a worth replacement, especially if you are looking for a G36 varient.
Note: Follow the Readme closely to properly install the two model varients for this release.

the model is nicely detailed...however, like everyone else has said, no world models make it suck, the reload animations suck, and it should have atleast gotten some custom sounds for shooting with it. Would give it a 10 def if it had those changes.

I give it a 8. Everything bad about it has been mentioned before, but there are also some good points: Im from germany, ima fan of the KSK, these guys us the original G36C, so im using this, because it make sme feel better then running around with a low-tech rifle that cant kill anybody :)

Excellent skin of a weapon I love. I heard, somewhere along my trawling of the internet's library of CSS websites that due to the AUG setup of the player w_model - with both hands vertical - the AUG cannot have world model replacements other than simple recolours, because otherwise the left hand would appear in the weapon. That taken into account the lack of world models can be excused. The scoped version, although it is more realistic, fails in that the scope itself and the area beneath it appear fuzzy. Since there the version without a scope it will please everybody (unless you really hate zooming in without a scope AND you can't stand fuzzy scopes). A worthy replacement of a gun that deserves its OWN place in CSS to OWN people...geddit...ok not funny. This will stay as my AUG skin until someone makes an SA80 or an L385 skin...SOMEONE PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASE MAKE ONE!!! 10/10

all bad points said before but not real problems to me... my only concerns are that the sounds dont work :S its just silence when reloading, but i guess that must just be me... oh and the icon etc being G36C would have been kewl, if thats possible
