This is one for those of you who like your Scouts dark and futuristic looking, this SL8 is definitely a winner. Absolutely no complaints with the model, and no problems with the skin either other than being a tad bit on the dark side. The animations by Hav0c get my approval too, nothing too extravagant, just simple, effective, and to the point. Overall a very, very nice scout. It's a 10-round semi-automatic rifle. Putting it as aug would be a bit stupid.

This is really cool ! On our server all snipers but the scouts are banned so now and then i take the scout and now it will own ass because of that skin ! yeah :D looks like some starshiptroopers weapon or something

love the model an all ,,but 1 thing bugs me ....when u fire the scout and wait for the nxt bullet to be loaded, there is no animations...the gun is just there in ur hands doin nothing..( this prabably makes no sense :D "

I really like this mod. I feel that the HK rifles never get enough respect, and its about time some one came along and built this mod. Some have already talked about the sl8 being too dark, but the truth of the matter is, its real version is a large very black rifle. I really think having colored the way it is gives a feel for the realism of how it would look in the real world. My only confusion about this rifle is why was it made into a scout mod? the HK sl8 and its bigger brother the sl9 are automatic/semiautomatic sniper rifles. when i consider scout mods i always first think of bolt action rifles. However im definitely going to keep this in my files for awhile and see if it grows on me, just because HK's are my favorites. If some one converts this to a auto-sniper mod, however, it would definitely make this mod a hundred times better.

God this skin is good... Our clan used to be sK... but were all better at reg maps... we play scoutz a lot... though... and there is one error in the model.... when you quickswitch the model from scout to knife... it is slow.... so slow... I die more often... fix this and I give it a 10

This indeed is one of the nicest remodels ive seen yet, but after you shoot that pause just seems to get me, seems like an sg550 model to me...

although it is a semi automatic rifle ( not full auto ) it has a slow bolt and indented right to prvent a large magazine feed, only a single stacked 10, which fits the scout.

It's nice! Anims work perfectly and the whole model feels bad-assed in your hands. I'd also like to put across my point that, because of the mag-size this model does work better as a scout than an SG-550. I'd have preffered it with a silencer which downs it by one point. Other than that, fine.

Way better than that crappy "Scout". I wasn't impressed with the length between shots, but I understand that this is because the "Scout" is bolt action and due to obvious reasons the shots must be spread apart more than the average semi-auto. The scope is a little odd at first, but you get used to it. Great replacement for the so called "Scout". 9 out of 10

This certainly is a good skin, no doubt, but the one thing that bugs me the most is the fact that the SL-8 is a light grey weapon in real life. The SL-9 is the black version of the SL series rifles made by HK. I suppose this is me just bein picky, but I like my rifles to be as accurate as possible.

I like the shape and sound of the gun, very Spec Ops tactical weaponish. I do have to say that it is a little bit dark though, some more color somewhere would do it good. Also, the world model looks completely flat. I really dislike seeing an scout on the ground with this skin because it looks horrible. With maybe a little bit more work this would be the best skin in the scout category.

id give this gun a 10 every time its totaly aswome i will always down load this scout its got great acc and reload time is 1 of the fastes if ever seen. Id say if your looking for a scout to get, get this 1 its the greatest its perfect for those who always get coat in those 1 on 1 battels for the wins.(a perfect 10)
