This gun is amazing despite its appearence. The CZ52 suffers from what I call easterneuropeansovietdesigninitus (yes... I made that up). This gun is an old czech weapon that was built on the concepts of practicality and reliablility, not as eyecandy. In other words, it gets the job done, just like the kalashnikov series of weapons. Despite the weapons appearence, its still an amazingly well done skin. The model is clean and pretty close to the real deal. The skin is outstanding. The quality of the skin alone make this gun worth a download. Animations are good, but the reload seems to be too quick, as the hand reaches and pull out the spent magazine it almost instantaniously grabs another magazine and jams it in. The origins are very close to the face, but nothing I can't live with. Some people may dislike this gun because it is undoubtably a "plain" looking pistol, but I try to grade based not on the weapon that is being virtualized into CSS, but on the quality of the work of the people involved in its creation for our enjoyment, and here, the quality of work is very well done. Some of you may disagree with me, but thats why we have a user review system, nomatter how rediculous the logic is behind some people's responses. Oh did I mention that it has world models?

This is the most popular handgun in the world, it's about time it had showed up in CS:S. The animations make you look like a pro when they are that fast, and I love it. Sounds are great and the model work is superb, well worth-while.

I'm giving this a 10. MAELSTROM, even if it IS ugly, you shouldn't just give it a 1.
Believe it or not, I think it looks kind of sleek... despite its boxiness.

It's a pretty well made skin aside from: The gun doesn't have the after-market slide release, so if you want to close the slide after chambering a round, you'd have to pull back on the slide. so when you flick down and the slide flies forward, you're not flicking anything. Another problem, the FIRING PIN IS MISSING... there is a big gaping hole where the hammer would hit the firing pin. Also, the sight is wrong, it's just a standard dovetail on the rear. I do like how realistic the loading of the magazine feels though, nice job on that part. other than the big flaws, it looks like everything is pretty good. Thanks for posting it!

I love this gun, it is depicted quite nicely and the harmonic sounds of gunfire makes me feel like some Russian madman on high. I instantly lose the nervousness of rushing when I have this skin. Although there are a few minor problems. For example the hammer isn't too visible (if you see the M1911 Colt skin in Deagles section the hammer is clearly visible). Also the skin is rather plain for some people (but not me). Apart from that the clip switch is good and everything else is brilliant.

Im not a major fan, but it is close enough to a Makarov which I love, so i'm usin' it and its a nice skin. Bar the obvious problems, like the non-existant slide release that was mentioned above

Custom sounds, World models, and a nice player model all make this a wonderful replacement for your dinky p228. It slides perfectly into the role, and its look will grow on you.
