	Darkstorn's AK + Jen's CZ anims Official Score » 9.2 Member's Score » 8.8 Here we go with the Darkstorn's model and skin again, not that I'm complaining but I hope you people are liking the variety. The only difference with this release being Jen's CZ anims, which are different. These animations are in my opinion, so much better, and it's a shame this is the only model I've seen for Source that uses them. For those of you who havn't read a review on the actual skin yet, the dark wood features some detailed and heavy normal mapping, utilising the Source engine to it's fullest. All in all, an excellent model + excellent skin + excellent animations = A beast of an AK. Note, as with all other Darkstorn AK models, Splinter's and Darkstorn's skin can be used. the animations r good like everyone says, but the small hands kinda bug me.....i would rather have the animations on a gun that didn't look so close up. you never see the back end of the gun [which i like to see cause it looks cool] which you can see on other guns. i would rather have these animations on the same gun but have it look a little farther away like the "Darkstorn's AK + Jen's anims " gun.

Ok... I like this gun a whoooole lot... But in the default model for source... you can see the stock... u know where your shoulder goes against..... this I can't.... and I really enjoyed that on the default model..... fix that.... and its a 10.... otherwise ... I give it a 9.... Jay

This is a nice ak, except for the hands. They are way too small. Also, these anims appear on spezz's m14.

This skins, is seriously awesome. Remember my review for the Wannabe's AK47 with default animations? This kicks it's booty so bad, I have to give it a ten. Anyways, the skin is lean, looks amazing, and bump mapping, animations are sweet, and I see no problems on this baby. Rock on!

Great skin, since it's the same as my favorite; however I do not like the animations. The origin is more centered in the other version and the deploy animations irritate me in this one. You do not draw back the bolt every time you pull out a gun - you'll eject a perfectly good round if you do that. Animations that do that bother the crap out of me. 9/10 for poo animations.

Really great gun. I use this skin over the plethora of other AK choices. I love the new animations; nothing over the top. The bolt is on the correct side now which is much more realistic. The only gripe I have with this model is that the wood on the front grip doesn't look that great. Don't get me wrong. All the wood looks good, just not great. Download it and try the new animations.

Its a nice looking model, however the reload sounds get very anoying and when I shoot the muzzle flash has weird reflect effets ont the rest of the gun making the metal look extemely bumpy and the woodgrain show up with crazy colors

These animations are a mixed bag. On one hand, I don't like the origins as they obscure the stock (although it allows a closer look at the very nice wood parts). Then again, the animations look much more natural than the Source Jen animation's rather robotic movements. Seeing that, the CZ animations score the same as the Source animations. Tough call on this one, but seeing as I fear change, I'll stick to the Source animations.
