This AK has been around for quite a while, but I've only just got round to trying it, and I'm still smacking myself on the head for not trying it earlier. This AK features Jennifers!! animations with the brilliant Darkstorn's AK with original Darkstorn skin, also worth mentioning this model is correctly mirrored. It also has very detailed world models included. This skin features reflect maps and some very heavy normal mapping that makes the wood look very realistic, however it does go a bit over the top, the wood looks very scratched and I wouldn't be suprised if it's riddled with woodworm. But despite that this AK is very nice indeed.

I'm not to fond of Jens animations for AK-47s. Not detailed enough in my opinion. I've always been fond of Darkstorn's AK modeling work though. Almost top notch.

The only thing keeping this model from scoring a perfect 10 is that when reloading, there isn't a round visible at the top of the magazine ready to be loaded into the barrel. Besides that, the wood is bleedingly realistic, the reflect mapping brings out the beauty of the metal parts, and everything seems crisp and mirrored correctly. This is currently the model I use.

The skin only looks good when you put EVERYTHING at high settings, if you dont put the antaliasing and the anitstropic the the highest, the wood is very blurred =(

Although it doesn't really go wrong anywhere, I don't think this is particularly special. Not too keen on the animations either, although they're well made. Basically, while it's an excellent skin, I don't think it stands out.

I've just tried it. First I was not sure about changing the skin of the AK47, cos I like the default CSS skin. But as I said I've just tried it and I have to say... WOW!!! This skin is awesome. Animations rock (thx Jennifer) and the rest is perfect. Try it. U'll luv it.

This ak is my favorite. Best ak, the wood dosnt look old...It could be a type of wood that looks like that. And most wood on guns is actually metal.
