Finally, a Glock replacement that's not a Glock. To cut straight to the point, the good things about this Beretta is the fact it's not a Glock, the animations are default and not crazy spinny/flippy/exaggerated/robotic, and that the skin is nicely done, despite how unrealistic it looks. The bad points however are higher in number. It has no reflect maps, no normal maps, and bizarre world models that make the gun always land on it's rear, pointing upwards. Other problems include heavy moire patterns and some aliasing with the grooves on the side of the gun, along with the sounds it comes with being the default of the Berettal Elites, and for me doesn't quite seem to work right when firing in burst mode. If you can look past these issues, it's definitely a refreshing release for anyone who wants a change from the normal.

OMG! how dare you submit an inferior M9 Beretta?! you should be ashamed of yourself, although this is a great model for someone who wants a good looking gun, but doesn't have a good enough computer for Spyder's M9. all in all this is a wonderfull model, but the skin just doesn't show off iit's true beauty. If somebody would give it a cleaner reskinin oh say silver (shiny whitish silver) and fix the animations this would be significantly better.

There's more than enough baretta submissions, but at least now there's one for a glock replacement. I don't know who would download a baretta for the glock slot, but that's just my point of view. While I'm a fan of this style of modelling and skinning though it looks unrealistic, the concept of a burst-fire baretta eludes me. If you can find one that exists, let me know.

There is the Beretta 93R, although not the same model they do exist.

Just a point on the world models... the problem is because I inadvertently included a bad .phy file in the zip.
The w models should behave correctly when playing on an online server. To correct them when hosting a server yourself (or playing with bots), simply delete models/weapons/w_pist_glock18.phy
