	Battlefield 2 Weapon Sounds Official Score » 8.5 Member's Score » 8.3 This pack replaces almost all weapon sounds in Counter-Strike: Source with firing sounds from BattleField 2. Almost all of them are a huge improvement over the unrealistic defaults. One or two are out of place, but you can navigate to the weapons folder and delete those that are undesirable. These were all recorded on a firing range so they are about as close to the real thing as you can get. Downsides, they might take some time getting used to, since they are so much for different then most of the weapon sounds you are used to hearing is CS. I am a realism freak, so I am using almost all of them. They really improve the atmosphere during a battle, Review & Submission by Milkman Sound: EA Compile: Steel Viper

really good sound pack. all of the weapon sounds are clear and realistic. a really nice change from the defaults! only a few that i didnt like though: the tmp and the AWP (i have the sound from something else and it sounds brill:D) but all in all a good pack :)

These are awesome. The default gun sounds are one of the things which put me off CS but now thats fixed.

sure they sound realistic, but they dont sound like Counter Strike. Plus they all sound exactly the same =(

Yes, this is legal to my knowledge, since it has been repackaged but not for sale. I have seen CS models and stuff in other games without legal consequences. But it is EA, and EA is a little... different with their public relations.

I agree, though they really sound good most of the time, they mostly sound very samely. I have removed them again for i count on hearing what weapons are shooting around me (plus, i am not that much of a realism freak ;) )

Geesus! how good does the un-silenced M4A1 sound. im forever going to risk not using the silencer to enjoy the sweeeet sound. amazing soundpack if u delete the AWP and TMP file before installing.

Well, I see just about everyone likes the little pack I put together. I just thought i'd let you all know that I've released a newer version of this as well as a less "realistic" soundpack on CSBanana. If you had any gripes with v1, v2 is probably going to fix most of them.

This sound pack is awsome, its a refreshing change fromt eh old and boring defaults, and with some other wep skins without a good sound or the default sound it replaces them with a nice touch, for example the phantom aug, fits almost perfectly with the silencer on the skin, overall a good sound pack, but not perfect, but sure is damn close

ea are with valve these days anyhoo EA-Valve, u dont need to worry about legal issues, otherwise madhatter wouldnt allow it here.

i really like the sounds, they give a person a feeling of a real pure firefight. THe sounds are really realistic and clean, although, as stated above the AWP has a strange sound when firing it. but all in all, it's very good

Best. Sound pack. Ever. Wow, thank you, Steel Viper. It's too bad the Battlefield 2 sounds don't do much for the CS pistols or the silenced M4, but overall, a great improvement. I love how weapons sound different when you hear them from a distance -- realistic and immersive. To those considering this pack, I don't think the weapons sound too "samey," as some have posted. I know sound is completely subjective, so I'm not arguing with anyone, just saying that I can tell a reasonable difference from one weapon to the next.

They're good...on Battlefield 2. CSS is a different type of game and I found that these weapons weren't really suited to the gusn on offer. To be honest, I'd give them a miss. the only sound I used out of this was the MP5...which I bastardised into my new silenced M4 sound. Sounds strange I know but I have a different M4 sound so it fits brilliantly.

This is definetly a 10/10 sound pack, the sounds are extremely belivable. Most sounds are changed from a computer generated bang to an extremely crisp 'Pop'. Sound quality is top notch, and none of the sounds for the weapons feel mismatched. This is probobly one of the best sound packs you will ever download.

This is realy bad! no im not trying to be an enemy to this pack here but, the sounds.. its realy bad, cuz you realy dont want to get this pack if you allredy modded css!!(wepon skins, minigun ex.) Big varning to ppl out there! listen to the sounds in winzip/winrar before you extract them to the game!

Im used to playing TC:E, wich is just like counter strike I hear, but I want to find out. so Im going from TC:E to CS:S, and I am useing ur guyz reveiws to see what I what like to have. ( I have played battle field 2 so I know the sounds, but I want to know if they match the gunz right)
