This gun put the Commando into Sg552. The model is outstanding, and with the aimpoint, rail system, RAS and vertical grip it gives the gun a more special ops feel. The skin is good, I like the color combos and the silver stands out in a good way. The reflect maps add an extra dimension of quality to the gun. The animations are supurb, my only complaint is the draw animation since the gun is origined so close to the player that the draw animation looks like the player is smacking theirself in the face with the stock of the gun. The sounds are good, although I personally do not like Hk's SIG firing sounds. In conclusion this is a great gun that is hard to pass up on, please do download it and give it a good shooting.

Don't rate the gun on the error in the download system; it's not the guns fault that the download system is currently screwed up.
As for the gun, I love it. When I first looked at it, I thought it was something that I would never be able to keep because it looks sort of bulky and in the way, but in game, it just plain looks awesome. By far the best 552 model for source to date.

Hmm... I'm split on this model.
On the one hand, it is a fairly detailed, commando-esque, beautiful replacement for the sig552. It is unique, something we haven't seen in this section for quite some time, and it's a fairly decent overall model and skin.
My problems with this model are absolutely nothing to do with the quality of the gun itself, by no means. It's the concept I really have trouble visualizing.
The gun itself reminds one instantly of Rainbow 6, and in my opinion it looks like a P90 with a closed magazine. While this is never out of place in a world of counter-terrorism, this special-operative approach to the sig552 does not feel at home with the terrorist force.
The custom sounds, while an admirable effort, also feel to lack the customary power of the sig552, and it makes me more convinced that the "authors", if you will, believed the sig552 was a submachine gun.
My other big beef is exactly what Milkman pointed out: the draw anims look ugly, not to mention unnatural. Peculiarly enough, I cannot make my mind up about the draw anims, not sure if I like them enough to try it a few more times, or dislike it enough to stop bothering. Love-hate.
And, while the reflect maps are superb, I feel that the base of the gun is rather bland, and to me looks like sheeting on a particularly uninteresting house. Something... else, there, would help its complexity, I feel.
Overall, a great model, but not to my taste. I wholeheartedly encourage you to download it, and try it, as it may appeal to your high-tech terrorist needs. But to me, it feels underpowered, and too far into the "Special Operative" theme.

Great model with all the reflections. Very high detailed. The sounds are great. The only drawback is that the scope looks so damn wierd. You can see in the picture that the scope reflections are off. As an avid shooter, I can say that all you would see in a real scope like that would be black untill you looked down in. Now, I understand that this is a game and realism isin't paramount, but, that scope reflection bugged me so much so that I had to get rid of it. I love the sounds and animations though. The firing sounds I kept and still use with the default model. I suggest using this model for a while, and see how you like it. Very high detailed and well put together. Try it out.

Very very nicely done, my only gripe (which is somewhat major) is when you reload it, you hold the weapon over the exact center of the screen, completely blocking your field of vision.

the textures are so-so and the gun covers the whole screen while reloading.
would be nice if the foregrip was held when other players are using it. the firing-sound is a bit weak so i changed it.
i'll be using it for a while :)
