Let it be known that all MP5 replacements shall be judged by this release. This is the cream of the crop for all that I am concerned. The base for this gun is Short_Fuse's wonderful MP5 model. The skin is incredibly detailed and the animations are class. Little additions like the beefier foregrip and the tape on the magazine and stock improve the overall look of the weapon. The only visual issue I have is the aimpoint, which looks a little blocky; perhaps some turbosmoothing would have made it a little nicer. The world model looks a little big, but was not a real issue with me. Also to add, the custom sounds gave this gun a distinct feel, and really make it stand out in a firefight.
Note: Follow the Readme closely to properly install the two model varients for this release.

Great skin. Works perfectly fine for me. The aimpoint version looks really bad because the aimpoint is huge and useless, but the one without the aimpoint is very well done.

This actually makes me not mind using the MP5. It doesn't exactly make it powerful, but making it LOOK powerful seems to make it a better weapon in the game.
Skin and model are both highly detailed, and there's not a single thing I can complain about.

IF YOU ARE HAVING TROUBLE: (this process is broken down to the easiest form possible, and should take 10-15 minutes) --Make sure CS:S is not open when you are doing this!-- First off, go to
http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
and go down to "English WinRAR and RAR release" and choose the first blue link called "WinRAR 3.42" download it, run it once, and make sure you put a shortcut icon on your desktop. Then go to your cstrike directory, (look below for how to find the cstrike folder [it is marked by a lot of # signs] follow the same "double-click" steps, just go in through "My Computer") make sure there are NO "aimpoint" or "noaimpoint" folders in there, if there are, delete them. Now download this skin again, and OPEN it with WinRAR (if it is not there, choose "select program from a list" and find the WinRAR icon from ur desktop). Now DO NOT extract the whole file that was downloaded, choose EITHER the "Aimpoint" or "Noaimpoint", double-click it, there should now be four folders, "materials, modles, scripts, sounds" and a folder with two periods on it, hold the left mouse button to make that little box thingy and highlight all of the folders (except the one with two periods on it) and hit the "extract to" button on the top. Now you will see a new little window called "Extract path and options". There will be a little thing on the right side of that window, like a tree of directories. ####Double-click the drive where Counter-Strike:Source is installed in, (either C or D, most ppl will only have one so just choose that one). Then Double-click "Program Files", then double click "Valve" then double-click "Steam", then double-click "SteamApps", then click your name (some people have an E-mail address, if you do, click that), then double click "Counter-Strike:Source", then double-click "cstrike".#### Now click the "Ok" button at the bottom, and start Counter-Strike:Source. If you dont have reload sounds, then its because you didnt extract the weapon name txt *smg.txt" in the scripts folder. Moving on, 9 because the pad where the right hand holds the smg its kinda lower quality, great skin though

FINALLY! An mp5 skin with the proper blowback action reload. You dont pull anything back and release it on an mp5 like an ak47. Its a catch. Pull action back, put clip iin, flip action down and forward. YAY FINALLY A RELOAD THAT WORKS THIS IS MINE BACK OFF I HAVE A SHRINK GUN!!!1

Really neat MP5. I use this one, but without the sight. Very detailed and the anims are good. It feels like you holding a real heavy mp5 with the new sounds.

this is one of the best mp5 skins, the animations are good, its high quality and detailed. no-scope version is highly recommended, the scope is blocky/square/rubbish... whatever you want to call it.

thet have the name wrong, its called an MP5/10, there is no such thing as an MP10 in real life, only in tom clancys world. anyways, great skin and model, the aimpoint looks great, but the mount doesnt look realistic to what a real AP would have on it. though the model looks great, the upper receiver on the gun itself looks too rounded. the magazines on a real MP5/10 are semi-transparent, and have the number notches. if youre not a realism freak like me youll love it. it looks great, and the animations are fluid and look good.
