I've been waiting for this for quite a while, and this release definitely delivers. It features custom animations, sounds, world models, and reflect maps (Including reflective scope) to boot. The only negative aspect to this replacement is the skin, it's not bad, but the supposedly transparent magazine really lets it down, and looks very low quality. Apart from that small gripe however, this is definitely worth your download. this is a nice Sig552 model if you want to keep the sig552, and it has world models.

I really, really wish the magazine on this model looked better. I'm a big fan of the SIG series, and that one part ruins a perfectly good model. On the other hand, the top half is detailed and beautiful. Certainly better than other replacements out there.

On some maps the texture looks horrible. I noticed this most on the new port map.

"On some maps the texture looks horrible. I noticed this most on the new port map." This is a fault in Port, not the model & skin. Every gun that has normal maps will look pixelated in de_port for some reason. None of the default guns have normal maps so that would explain why they work.

I think it's the best replacement out there, let down slightly by the skin. The magazine is slightly bad, but it realy goes strange in dark places, like on de_port.

this is a good replacement, it doesnt change the orig. too much, and i cant really find any faults with it apart fromt he mag. which is crap.

The SG-552 is one of my favorite guns. I have an airsoft replica, so I am very familiar with how the gun looks and feels. Darkstorn's SG-552 is one of the best models i have seen for any game. It's very detailed and feels powerful. The skin's coloring is pretty near perfect, and even the add-on top rail is modeled fairly accurately. The major complaint I have about this skin is the magazine texture. To be honest, it sucks. It's almost as if Stoke got bored after texturing everything else perfectly and wanted to do it quick and dirty. Aside from that, my only complaint is that the ejection port is on the wrong side of the gun, but it seems like most models are like that. This model would be perfect if the above two things were changed. I hope someone updates this skin in the near future.

this is my replacement for ever. i saw the new sg552 for the m4. if some1 took this model, centered it alittle, and gave it a silencer, it would be the best m4 replacement. (doing this without changing how the guy holds the gun!!!)

This certainly puts the Commando into SG552. A great skin, with great model and wicked scope. What more could I ask for? A sweet world model, and it is there too. You need this model if you love the SG552. Download it now. Heck, Download it twice. No flaws, the skin is smooth... if there is 1 low, it is that it takes up space on your computer ^^
