It sounds great allot better that the original ones. Only problem I can find is I found that the radio static started to hurt my ears after a while....

After listening to each of the sounds supplied in this pack, I decided they were good enough to at least try in-game. It was a good decision, as the sounds are fairly high quality, and the radio sounds add a nice touch. Beware though - it doesn't just change the communications/radio sound, it also changes the "Terrorist/CTs win!" Sound, adding some music to the end of each.
What I was impressed with, is the emphasis that is put into the voices. It's not the same dull, monotone voice that's been with us since the original CS, and it definately adds to the realism when you're in a fire fight.
I have playtested these sounds for around two weeks now and I still have them installed. I was at first worried they would be come irritating, but as of yet they are adding a nice touch to the game. Overall, it's worth a try, even if you're not sure.

Kyrottimus.... See this man, he rocks! The enthusiasm is what hits the spot more than anything else, no more 'I need backup' .....Instead: 'I NEED BACKUP!!!!' or 'FIRE IN THE HOOOLE!!!' Well and truly great download. Reminds me of the SOFII radio commands, which were awesome!

i personally think the music ruins this.
i find the beeps after the transmission distracting aswell espiecally if u are listening to your music.
but if u like heavy rock music, distracting beeps, and brash american voices this is for u :p

My favorite part about it is the CT or T wins sounds, it plays some pretty awesome rock music, helps keep me hyped while playing..adds to my crazy charging style of deathdealing.

I personally didn't install these because they're just not my type, but don't be judgemental. These sounds are excelent if you're into the whole realism type thing. Very nice soundpack <3 sk8.

You know that feeling you get sometimes when you get just a little bit too geeky? You know, like enjoying an anime so much that you cosplay it? Changing the radio to these sounds give it the same feeling of cheesiness and geektitude. Only go for these if you really hate the default radio.

The sounds are pretty realistic and makes you think your actualy in war BUT the whole bleep at the end is pretty annoying and if you play with your speakers on high it will hurt your ears. About the music it's decen't on account it carrys on for when you buy your weapons too, just take out the bleeps.

If you cant be arsed to read what ive put below, my overall message is DONT DOWNLOAD THIS SOUND PACK. If you would like to know why, read beyond.
I have to disagree with the main review, maybe kyrottimus is a freind or brother whos knows but this sound pack is crap to put it mildly.
Huge amounts of static, which get extremely annoying fast.
Also, making matters worst a high pitched bleep after every command will send anyone insane.
If thats not enough, all the commands are extremely cheesy. Lastly its rock music every time a team wins, adding more pain due to not being a rock fan.
(tho even if you are a rock fan, the same contiuous repeptitive cut is replayed every round making you want to delete this sound pack pronto).
This is a must steer clear package, unless you like lots of static, continuous repeititive high pitch bleep noises, cheesy remarks, repetitve rock background music this is for you.
Other wise SAVE YOURSELVES !! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES. (lol)

I love this sound pack. There is a V2 that doesn't have the annoying music or the beeps either. It doesn't seem to be on this site though. A shame, it would've got a 10 from me if it wasn't so annoying.
I use Version 2 of this pack and probably always will do. Kyrottimus' voice had lots of tension and anxiety in it, that the defaults don't.

It's pretty good, though I have to agree the music was so annoying I edited them out myself. A few of them are too long, so that in game they are cut short if someone else says something, and living in England an American voice isn't the best thing for me. BRING ON THE COCKNEY SOUND PACK!!!

Here's a tip from a Bosnia vet US Army MP.
Cut the volume-- radio chatter is NEVER louder than gunfire.
less midrange and bass: If you recall, your earbud mic is sooo tiny it's very treble sounding IRL. It's also very FLAT, and it clips when someone screams into it.
make it MONO, and set it to the right or left channel only. This will simulate having only ONE earbud in. A cool effect in-game, i would think.
Try again, and I'll download it when you make these changes, hooah?

These sounds are very low quality, it's as if a teenager is yelling in his shitty michrophone. The beeping l dont mind, but the voice acting is just horrid, and to top it off, the shitty guitar riff at the end of each round just ruins the experience.

i give a 10 bcuz first of all if you have ever herd a real 50 caliber sniper this is as close is it gets the same with the other sounds but the AWP sounds like it will kill anyone in youre path with this soundpack

Well, this guy could perhaps have some experience in the force, but does he neccesarely have to destroy our ears?! I mean, when say something 'Fire in the hole' there comes this annoying sound like some shit from StarWars and he says it really loud, and then a car alarm finish off the command.. Don't DownLoad it, unless you want bad ears.

this appealed to me so today i downloaded it and gave it a try, the message beep got on my nerves after a bit, so i went back to the default, otherwise very clear, and more emotion then the dull defaults

while it seems good reading the title and after hearing it faintly over vent when coming through someones mic i decided to download it. what really got me was the beep on the radio. sounded cool. however when listening to the sounds i soon realized that the voice was the same one over and over. this normally wouldn't be so bad but the way the vocal work was done just made it very annoying to listen to. definitely wont install this one.

10/10 no doubt about it,don't listen to all of the jerks like Havok giving it a 1 just because he thinks that if you download it,your a nerd. Wtf is that? Your the nerd for saying a thing like that Havok,Anyways this sound pack is great,it's better than the default sound,Give it a try and you'll like it.
