The gun is just as menacing in Counter-Strike Source as I expected it to be. The revolutionary design makes it look like no other shotgun replacement before it. I personally like the scenery change, this gun resembles to me atleast a really oversized rifle. While the model is solid I understand that not everyone will love the design of the weapon, it is indeed something out of the ordinary. There are a few different skins for the gun. A standard black, green, desert and British DPM. I am not a fan of the camo ones because I think that the patterns ruin the look of the gun, but they are still well done skins. I am sure you will find one to your liking. The skins also benefit a great deal from the reflect maps. The animations I assume were custom made for the weapon. Nothing too flashy, but get the job done without any problems for me. The sounds are awesome. The firing blast is big and loud, just what I would expect from an automatic shotgun. If your tired of the Fabarm or the default and are looking for something new to try out for your noob cannon, the pancor is ready and able to be your next new auto shotty. This release also has world models. Note: Follow the Readme closely to properly install the skin varients for this release. I loved maxpayne wen i was younger, and just mentioning that makes it my permanent skin on css. I also tried it out ovcourse<:)

The model is shows good detail for the lack of refs and the original anims remind me of jenns hyperblaster comedy. The skin however is very basic and lacks any amount of detail. Such high score are totally inaccurate as they only consider 'coolness' and not the all-round quality missing because of this.

I've been w8ting for a Jackhammer to come to CSS for a gd time... The model is OK but the skins... Doesn't please me at all. Theres no detail and the bright barrel mixed with the rest just doesnt feel right.

Though the skin has already be harshly comented on other forums, I still must say that it is rather bland. The model is fine, especialy concidering that it is nearly impossible to find decent refs of this gun, but the skin seems like more of a base than a finished product. This is no fault if Elfa's as he is an inexperienced skinner. Hell, I'm not saying I could do better, i couldn't, but I still think its lacking.

i would also like to see this in the pump shotty, its that good. ive used the jackhammer in BF2, and this is just like it.

how did this get a 9.0 while lonewolf's usp got like 8.8 you have to be joking, the quality of this release barely touches the silencer itself on lonewolfs usp. these reviews are becoming ridiculous and highly darkelfa fan based, lol, seems like elfa can't release anything under 9.0 mark

The skin has been improved a littlebit which made me give an eight out of ten, however, the model does look a little bit weird to me, the concept of this weapon as to replace the auto shotty is also inappropriate if you are a realist.

I loved this in Max Payne. But this is not Max Payne, nor does it make me feel like it. The model is well done but just too chunky for me. The multiple skins are a cool feature and the silver parts of the gun (mainly the barrel) are well done, but the other parts seem to bland and unrealistic. Animations are simple but nice and have no problems that I noticed.

problem is that differnet people review the stuff. Milkman could love the jackhammer, while elanzer is fed up of seeing USPs :P Personaly, this gets an 8. my main reason being that its very original. the model looks fine to me, and since i have no idea what a real jackhammer looks like, i'll assume its fairly accurate. The skin is also nice, although its not terribly exciting. My problem is just that you don't get to see a whole lot ingame... the back of the carry handle is just BLAND. Whether this is just how the jackhammer looks or just an innacurate model i don't know, but it doesn't help it look nice inagme thats all.

i don't kno.. it feels like it's missing sumthing.. but then again..i don't kno how to skin or any of that anywayz. so yea. i haven't tried it, but from the screen shots, it looks kinda un-real. idk

Very very good model. The real weapon is a true auto shottie and this one gives it a nice breath of air other than that... SHINY SILVER ONE. OMG it's shiny. This weapon is hella better than the other one.

very original idea, and nice model. the skins are OK, but for some reason whenever i try to install different skin it always stays the dark grey...idk, maybe my settings arent high euff or sumthin

very nice idea but the jackhammer looks as if it just came of the rack,no dents or scratches and a little to shiny for me. but, other than that its a very great skin.

This gun is alot of fun to use. With the big loud firing sound to the great skinning effort put forth by Darkelfa who once again deserves a big hand for this one, it is just excellent.

Best auto-shotty replacement there is! The skins (all 5) are beautiful and the gun just feels right when shot. Almost fits as if it were the default CS:S noob cannon :)

I love this thing. I always liked the auto-shotgun, but I use it a lot more now that I have this beast. To the people that complain about the skin having low detail: The Pancor Jackhammer looks almost EXACTLY like this, so you cant say that it has no detail, because in reality, thats the closest you can really get without hauling the skin higher up the screen to show off the safety switch or something. One SMALL beef I have is unavoidable: The Jackhammer uses a magazine, so you would drop a mag, slide in a new one, and be on your way. But because the XM1014 is fed round by round, this cant be avoided. Still, great skin.
