Just a little update for you guys for the steam engine:- Restart your Steam clients in order to complete this update.
- Fixed a client crash
- Fixed sv_allow_wait_commands restricting the server using wait
- Fixed a crash in "soundlist" command
- Reallowed fps_max value of 0, which means unrestricted fps
- Fixed a crash playing back demo files recorded with the previously-released engine
- Client forwards server commands it doesn't understand back to the server
- sv_pure 1 now allows custom spray decals by default
Valve have confirmed the release date of Half-Life: Episode 2, and Team Fortress 2. They will both be released October 9th 2007 for ALL platforms! - That's PC, 360, and PS3.- It will sell for $49.99 on PC and $59.99 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Previously, the company intended to sell a slimmer package, The Black Box, which would not include Half-Life 2 or Half-Life 2: Episode One, but those plans were cancelled last month. It is expected that Steam customers will retain the option to purchase only the newly-released games.
I'm wondering if this release date will be anything else like their previous release dates.... slippy!
