Atari Back-Catalogue on Steam in June?
Posted by MadHatter - 0 comments
The Steam Review has posted a very interesting story on the possibilties of 'GamersFirst', (Atari's Publisher) releasing content over steam.
  • GamersFirst will begin on June 1st at participating retailers and will include a new price point of $19.99 on all existing console titles…[and] all existing Windows titles (excluding the recently launched Dungeons & Dragons Online).
Additionally, all Windows titles included in the program will be available for immediate download at Valve and Direct2Drive, also for $19.99.
The Steam Review's Article includes some critisizms regarding the logistics of delivering an entire back-catalogue through Steam, as well as some of the potential business problems.

It's definatley worth a read, check it out.
