A Podcast is basically just like an MP3 radio show which people can download and listen to in their own time!

A call for map submissions, we want you to submit maps to CSDL!

I opened the URL in Windows media player and saved it, yet the recording is so faint on full volume that I can't listen to it. Anyone know what's wrong?

Yeah, the recording levels are just right, if it's quiet, it'll be your volume levels.
You can also do a right click and 'save target as' on that image to save the mp3 file.

I like the idea, it was a good show. Two qualms, however - rather difficult to tell what the host was saying as he mumbled occasionally. Also, the music was a bit rubbish - I'd prefer a straight podcast, with no music. Or alteast the option to choose between the two; although that would require more space for hosting.

Incase you don't know, you can publish Podcasts through itunes and with itunes the listeners can have your show automatically updated whenever a new show is published.

Your accent reminds me of one of the people from Consolevania so I had no problem with understanding it. Really like the quality on it and only problem I had was the music, which is easily skipped. I look forward to seeing what you put on the electronic one.

Well, I'm going to do rock for the next show, which is looking like a friday release. (Just because I have alot of podsafe rock quickly available). But I'll be sure to include a variety across the shows.

With music you can never satisfy everyone so you have to accept the bad and hope for some good. I'm hoping for some IDM but I know it isn't likely to happen.

What warrants a track being 'podsafe'? Do you mean in terms of bad language, obscurity or copyright problems?

copyright.... basically, you have to have the explicit permission of the artist and record label to play it. Unless it is a 'mashup' of songs.

http://music.podshow.com is all podsafe, you can browse for music we can play there.
