VAC2 Beta now Public

Well, it only seemed right that I should post some news (after a shameful length of time!).
All of us geeks on the HLDS mailing list received an email from Valve's Alfred Reynolds stating that the VAC2 Beta has now been opened to the public.At present, the major issue lies within finding a solution to help those that experience connection problems when trying to connect to VAC2 enabled servers.
For server admins unsure of any extra steps they should take for the Beta, there is a cool FAQ guide that will explain some of the details. It's good to see things are on the up and up for VAC2's imminent release! Comments

Some server renters wish to cheat and try out cheats to learn them on there server and making it compulsary would make them get banned basicly they pay for there servers that arent cheap so they can do what they want on it.

You would`nt need to "learn them" to catch a hacker on your server because vac would ban them anyway. Posted by Rifleman
yes but vac doesnt always catch somone and it could be 2 weeks of him getting away eith it

it should be readily available 4 all servers but if you want to just cheat with youre friends and all of them cheat then it might br fun

Cheating ruins the fun of the game imo - regardless of whether its mucking around or not.

I don't think Valve announce that we can enable VAC2 beta on public server. I checked through Steam Forum and News but I can't find the announcement at all. Although we are going to enable it but my porter, the game server provider said, better not before the official. Valve will de-list the server from list if u are not invited to VAC2 beta test run. Just my concern in this topic, if i'm wrong correct me please.

VAC2 Beta now just perform a data collection? They won't ban any hacker on the spots. I still see alot of wallhacker and aimboter in server.... pfffft, might move my concentration to BF2....
