Here is the Second Deagle replacement of the day; Steel's Colt M1911A1. The Colt .45 is a no-thrills design, and yet still a very elegant pistol. The model reflects this well. There are four skins to choose from, whether it be matte black or chrome, simple steel finish, or for the more adventerous, Gold plating. Good use of ref maps also enhance this handgun. Quad's animations feel like they were made just for this gun. All the animation sequences are lively and show off the great model. Although no custom sounds are credited, there indeed custom sounds. I have never heard the firing sound before, but I love it with this pistol. World models included.
Note: Follow the Readme closely to properly install the skin varients for this release.

Another edition of Schmung's MP5, this incarnation sports a M203 grenade launcher and modified muzzle. The base MP5 has already been seen before in other releases, so you know what to expect there. As for the EOD portion, I say that it really adds to the gun. The timid little MP5 now has the dominating looks of a rifle carbine and for the most part just looks badass. This varient reminds me alot of what the Marines carried in Half-Life 1, except this gun is about ten-times the quality. The animations have been motified to fit the accessories. Recoil is much less noticible, a explanation for this would be because the M203 and new barrel assembly would weight down such a small gun like the MP5. The custom sounds are good, the firing sound sound powerful and the reload sounds great. World models are included to finish off this package.

You really can't ask more from a release; three different sets of animations, ten different skins, there is so much work put into it that you know its got to be good. Have any doubt left? Well lose it, because this is a great knife. The model is spectacualar, the knife is not too small, wide, narrow or long, its perportions are prefect. The skins are all amazing, and nomatter what you are looking for, whether it be a stainless steel blade, wood handle, composite, anything, you can find a skin for it. There are three animations, all distinctly different for different tastes, once again you can't go wrong here. The number of options for customization of this knife are practically infinite. This is something that everyone should try out.
Note: Please follow the readme very closely, as the number of options for this knife means it can be complicated to install correctly.
Also: Servers enforcing consistancy will most likely not accept the world models due to recent valve patch.

First off let me say - Greatest AK replacement ever. There's not one thing about this skin that is below excellent, it's just perfect. The textures by NCFurious are as you would expect, well detailed yet still very smooth and natural, making the wood especially look great. Animations by Jen (Version 3) top off the package, along with some basic reflect maps, world models, and a total of four interchangeable texture variations (Light wood, dark wood, black mag, wood mag - See readme for more info). We needed a definitive AK, and now we have it. Enjoy.

It didn't take long for me to notice the really ugly images in the buy menu for the guns. They look like 1.3 world model renders with bad jpeg compression. Luckily a good man going by the name of MrFriendly has taken it apon himself to create renders of the finest custom guns and replace valve's ugly ones with these. Although this is not exactly the biggest release in history, it is something that improves another element of Counter-Strike Source, and I live by the motto that anything better is worth using.
