| Darkstorn's Sako 92 + Hav0c's anims

A relatively unheard of weapon amongst most, the Sako is a Finnish rifle roughly based off the well known AK47, and as such is like a cousin to the Galil, making it a suitable replacement. It does it's job very well in all aspects, the model is great, skin is great, and it features some pretty good ref maps. World models are also included for those of you who demand them. It also uses Hav0c's AK anims which although I'm not usually very fond of, seem much more suitable on this model and get the seal approval as far I'm concerned. Overall this is definitely one of the best Galil replacements to date, right up with the AKS-74U. Give it a try, you shouldn't be disappointed.

| Twinke & Thanez SG552 holosight + Hav0c's anims V3

The 3rd SG552 this weekend, this is Twinke's model released a while ago with holosight model and a skin by Thanez on Hav0c's 3rd set of 552 anims. As you can see it's main selling point is the dark textures, a good choice in my opinion seeming yet another grey skin would of been jut plain depressing. The new holosight by Twinke also makes an appearance, and is a decent scope replacement. The model and animations are good, and get 0 complaints from me, the only thing I could comment negatively on is the text on the skin seems to have an almost beigey yellow appearance, and maybe it's just me but is a bit of a put-off. Other than that, it's a brilliant revival of this model.

I remember first seeing this released some time ago, but their were some errors so I waited until they were fixed, but it was out of sight, and unfortunatly out of mind. Now that I have once again found it on my Hard Drive, I am regretful that I didn't get this up quicker because it is a very nice AWP replacement. The model for the most part is very nice. Save for some lack of detail on the body of the weapon, the scope, bipod, bolt and pretty much everything else looks pretty nice. The skin is decent, but the reflect maps help add a little more character to the skin. The animations are Strykerwolfs from the Ghost Ops mod. I like them alot though, the bolt action is nice and quick and the draw animation is different from what I would have expected for this gun, but it does show off the otherwise invisible detail on the stock. A real nice thing about this compile is that the world models work, unlike Lonewolf's AWP which was unfortunate enough to be compiled before the world model animation updates. The sounds are nice as well.
Note: Follow the Readme closely to properly install the two model varients for this release.

| Schmung's MP5 EOD + Hav0c's anims

Another edition of Schmung's MP5, this incarnation sports a M203 grenade launcher and modified muzzle. The base MP5 has already been seen before in other releases, so you know what to expect there. As for the EOD portion, I say that it really adds to the gun. The timid little MP5 now has the dominating looks of a rifle carbine and for the most part just looks badass. This varient reminds me alot of what the Marines carried in Half-Life 1, except this gun is about ten-times the quality. The animations have been motified to fit the accessories. Recoil is much less noticible, a explanation for this would be because the M203 and new barrel assembly would weight down such a small gun like the MP5. The custom sounds are good, the firing sound sound powerful and the reload sounds great. World models are included to finish off this package.

Okay, let me set the record straight. This is a rifle, despite having a pump action and the look of a shotgun. Despite the shotgun look, it is a scout replacement. The model is plain and smooth, just like you would expect from a shotty, with the addition of a decent scope and magazine. The skin is for the most part black, with the appropriate nicks and scratches. The animations are new, due to the pump action reload. Kudos to Mullet for the excellent job on the animations. The sounds are great, I especially like the pump and firing sounds. Although a pretty unique and abnormal scout replacement, I enjoy using it as it is something more than just another bolt action hunting rifle. Also comes with world models.
