there's also always the the macbook, but Dell has really never let me down so I'd say go for it there.

I would imagine that most of the US products are available in the UK and a Samsung might be really good too yeah, just Dell and I are tight so I thought I'd recommend them. Really they're very good computers and pretty cheap... be warned one major reason they are cheap when you buy them is because it's flipping impossible to customize them later on.

Well they are laptops, you are limited to changing CPU, Ram and Drives.
