Back by Xfire & boredom demand, clips from the latest episode. I'll do my best to keep this thread updated and functional, Youtube are very copyright-remove-happy on these lately.
Africa SpecialRace across Africa. Sub-£1500 2WD cars only. Whoever's fails on the way has to drive... the Beetle.

Stupid copyright laws. They're outdated and they ruin everyone's fun. I don't get Top Gear or Peep Show here

Top Gear is on BBC America regularly (one of only a handful of good programs on it) but it's a series behind and the episodes are edited and cut down from their original uninterupted 1 hour long totally advert free form (yay BBC), into the dreaded American advertisment edition which from what I understand is about 25% shorter because of them.

Speaking of the new episode the motor home race was epic. Although the rest of the show was so-so.

Yes this one's old but it's a classic, the American roadtrip special. Where they get attacked by rednecks.
"God Florida's awful"
"If you go beyond 79th street, you will definitely be murdered"
"Three religions down here. George Bush, God, and Country & Western. In that order."

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=baTeVUYn9vsDies down in the middle, but good other than that. Especially the last bit, some woman in New Orleans tried to sue Clarkson because the car he gave her for free was a few years older than he had claimed. Somehow that sums it all up for me.

Did they have to pixelate the face of the special forces guy?

It's common practice, members have to remain anonymous. They're bound by an NDA and the Official Secrets Act, and don't answer to or have to cooperate with any non-military agencies, including the police. If they are KIA or win a VC, usually nobody outside the family will hear about it, they're just attributed to the regiment. Because of the sensitivity of their operations / trouble in Northern Ireland, if their identity was revealed they could of been dead within days. Even ex-members using pseudonyms and pixelated faces now have to clear any public statements they make about their service first.

A great challenge this week. The team participates in a 24hr endurance race at Silverstone... in a several year old second hand diesel BMW. The results are suprising however when it's the Stig's turn to be unleashed on the unsuspecting opponents. There's a load of funnies, a bunch of high-end vehicles crashing as the day wears on, and someone pisses himself. Watch now.

Nothings wrong with a purple shirt, I'm just saying the particular style of shirt he's wearing and his overall appearance make him look like a fruit. And yes, unless you're that host, you really do get compliments from girls if you can pull off wearing colors like purple.

Hmm, I was watching the last episode of this series and thought some of the music used in the Jag XF review was familiar, from Halo (can't remember which) to be specific. Can a Halo fanboy please confirm if it is? It's at 3:20 - 4:20.
