Steam is selling The Orange Box for $45. It includes Portal, Team Fortress 2, Half Life 2, HL2 Ep1, and HL2 Ep2. Should I get this? Is it worth it? I don't own any of those games.

You're paying for TF2 EP2 and Portal and HL:2 and Ep1 are free, so it's only fair they let you give away those two games for free, that you had to pay for in the past.

I'll be getting the Orange Box for Episode Two and Portal, I'm not really looking too forward to TF2 to be entirely honest. The beta will be a nice bonus for preordering though.

I'm looking foward to the 3 new games basically equally. However, I'm also really excited to see the new stuff the source engine's cookin' up.

Get it on 360 cause your laptop(s) won't handle it. Won't be able to play with any of us but then again even if any of us here do manage to play a game together anymore, TF2 isn't that great to play with people you know anyway considering it's so fast paced.

TF2 is the best multiplayer game ever. I love the scout, it's so much fun to just jump around everything in sight and then just rape with the scattergun.

Only thing that is stupid sometimes is, two people will just be medic and heavy weapons guy and just ****** that the entire game.

Other than that, it's so incredibly awesome. Portal is good too. Haven't played Episode 1 or 2 yet, so I'll tell you guys later. =D

Episode 2 was amazingly fun. Hunters are awesome to fight, and the whole bit at the end was AWESOME. It made me sad too. :'(

I really can't wait now, it seems every single one of those games is getting great reviews, I don't know if any of you even care, but I find IGN to be a pretty good game reviewer and it gave the whole package a 9.5... pretty darn good.

Of course it's got good reviews, HL2 is the highest rated game of all time, though you probably wouldn't know that seeming you've been too scared to even look at it's name for the last 3 years because of your fear of headcrabs... Also IGN are shit.

I wasn't that impressed by Portal personally, but then again I wasn't really expecting to be. From a technical standpoint it's interesting, but I didn't find any of the puzzles even remotely challenging and the 'last third of the game', apart from the 'last bit', was tediously uninspired and boring. It did have great comedy throughout though. TF2, meh, not much different from TFC at the end of the day, I got bored of it a few days after the beta was released. EP2 was great, and anyone who thought it was the same length/shorter than EP1, or took longer to create than an entirely new Half-Life game, is a bellend. That includes Yahtzee, his reviews are getting steadily worse since they got popular.

He never mentioned it taking as long as a full game, just that the time between episodes was too great. I would agree but I'm a valve man-child.
