I had issues with skin developers, and I don't hate them, I'm too apathetic and reasonable to hate someone that I have never met. They had poor attitudes towards me and anyone who questioned their greatness, I see it in any mod community that I browse though, it's just a symptom of being a human I suppose.

I'd like you know where you people are getting these quotes of me too, I never said Milkman hated the CSDL community, only CS, there's a difference. I'm not blaming you, I'm probably worse than you in that regard anyway. But yeah, here's where I got it from:

The modding community always has been a bit dramatic. If it's not someone threatening us with legal action just because we hosted one of their skins (and never following through, despite our offers to comply), it's another saying he loves this site more than the others and will remain exclusive, only to defect and never return a few days later, and then go on to become one of the most popular skinners at the time mainly due to the exposure we gave him. Once, even a whole group of CDG'ers planned to hack the site and give the owner a real life lynching, because we threatened their popularity and established dominance over the community. Pretty sad, and the reason why I feel the same as Milkman and have stopped reviewing skins.

O.o CDG felt THAT threatened. But how would they know where Mad lives?

A lot of the people at cdg used to come here when they weren't very well known and then stopped coming when they started releasing stuff at cdg, some of them even slag csdl off.

When i think of it Csbanana (AKA Fpsbanana nowdays) when it first started it let anyone post skins which was nice because you were not seeing to many releases from the same people and no matter how noobish some of the stuff was alot of it was great from people who don't do skinning every day or every week. But no FPSbanana has turned in to a elite ****** place. The only thing that is good about the site that you can have a studios.

We host any and all skins that meet a quality of excellence that makes them worthy of hosting. Thats what our motto was basically. We always offered help to new skinners, and while CDG was busy slagging them we were complimenting them and making suggestions. Heck, some pros started posting here instead of CDG because of issues with that community's owners. Of course they used us like a good egocentric artist would, thats just the business I suppose, a business I did not and still do not want to be a part of.

just chose to register here, im a uv skinner(thank you lol) from fpsb, been there 2 years

wanted to get in on this, i seriously think CDG needs a good kick in the ******. they think theyre ALL that and they have simply forgotten what the word "criticism" or "help" even mean anymore. all they do now is slag off on anyone who's starting skinning or post a wip of something they're experimenting with. i got myself banned on purpose from there, simply ripped open a can of cuss and made some dandy little pictures of "things" in photoshop then spammed like 10 threads of it

of course, the cdg mods couldnt take it and had to censor my pictures.
