I usely have nothing to do when i'm behind my pc so i'm basicly retarding in Photoshop all the time. Thats why I posted one soon.

Scud has already broken 2 rules with his entry, its got a name on it, and hes used it on the forum before.

well whatever, I just wanna be clear on one thing that hadn't hit me till just now, the text on my sig says "Take up the cause" not "Jake up the cause" the -T- just doesn't look very convincing.

I did use a sig with a red gradient overlay like 6 months ago yeah, but this is not the same one
The one I had then was one of my noob gfx, I had only been using photoshop for a month or so.



Guess its up to the sig comp host to decide who to believe

since it's the first competition can't we just let it slide? I for one like the sig a lot. what I really wanna know is how you made your current sig with those green 3d wires and the funky electric background, and that cool 3d shiny bubble think in the middle. thumbs up from me!

And about my sig,
Well, there is A LOT of time and work put into it.
Although it is pretty basic.

background: abstact brushes with a custom pattern overlay,
and a white gradient in the upper part of the sig.

"3d" wires: straight line made with the brush tool, distorted with filters,
with changed blending options (bevel and emboss + Satin + outer glow).

Shiny bubble: Using the elleptical marquee tool to make all the circles, and changing the blending options.
And the "shiny" effect itself, is made using the "satin" in blending options.

You were using that sig ages ago.

Like I said, this is not the same siggie. I made this entierly for the competition

Jamoches sig looks like the exact cover of my old COD2 PC Gamer disk, shiny and everything.

sorry didn't mean for it to sound like that, I really meant that I don't know if you broke the rules or not and if you say you didn't then I believe you, but some people do claim to have seen it before so really all I'm saying is forget it, and stop dwelling.

Filtered !!!! no its not filtered except for the fire and the plain(motion bluer) but its consisted from alots of layers

1. scud.NOR (some of you said the he already use it here and the text on it looks like a member name but i let it go)
2. Guns for sale commenting inside the commpetition area and i said ok he didnt see the topic about the commenting.
3. Rifleman and Volkswagen the same as Guns(commenting inside the commpetition area).
4. then NovaProspect the same and as for you Nova i think i can hardly see your name on your sig(i think you broke the rules too)
5. Wolf is commenting in the no comments zone as well!!!!

I would like to comment on that fact that I believe two weeks is a bit long for a competition involving so few people. Most people willing to enter I believe already have, waiting a whole week to see who's gonna come up with the next competition seems a bit too long eh?

Yes its too long ,but you guys who suggested that a week is not enough
frankly i thought more people would enter this competition but apearantly not
i am thinking about changing the period from the next contest to one week what do you think?

I think that's a good Idea, unfortunately we just don't have all that many PS-ers on this forum though this is a good way to get people started but for now no long term competitions because without constant entries this thread gets a bit boring.

Its two weeks from 22 feb 2007 6:07 pm, so the submitting period should end in 7 march 2007 6:07pm exactly and followed by two days of voting in a new poll i started when it ends.

Holy ******, i think no one submits any sig. Maybe you should just have a sig competition for 7 days, and then show them all off, may i run the next comp please

You cant run the next comp unless you wins this one because its in the rules.

say i enter and i win, can i give someone else the duties to make the next competition?

If you win you should pick the subject for the comp and any secondry rules you want to put in the comp with out breaking the main rules ,and you can give the duties of monitering the comp to make sure every thing is according to the rules to another person ....but you are the one who should put the subject if you wins.
