hello everybody. This site is pretty schweet. I've replaced all my guns with a ton of kewler guns. I've had to replace some sounds for some :/ but other than that this site is easy to navagate and download all these skins.
Also, I was wondering, where do I learn to make a skin? How long could it take to learn/ then make a crap shoot one just to mess around? and is there a or multiple programs that are needed? do they cost money? What about tutorials?
It be awesome to have these answered, thanks!

^^Thanks Silver Bullet.
^Wow, are you talking about my spelling?
Because you didn't capitalize your first word in your sentence, typed "u" as opposed of "you," and forgot a period.
Don't bag on me for spelling, especially with a post like that.

Easy, Twisted. The moron is not the one who dares someone to urinate on the electricity box, it is the one who takes the dare.

you need to do a whole bunch of stuff to put a new model in source. its best to pick one thing at a time and learn it.
Skinning - Photoshop
Modeling - XSI, 3ds max, milkshape etc
There are other steps but i dont know much about them. They do cost money, xsi 3ds max and photoshop cost alot, so its best to obtain the them 'other way'. and Milkshape i think is only 30 bucks.

^^I've got photoshop (adobe), and I'm good at that. Comes with animation program too (image ready). But I'm still working on getting the right program for 3d max, as I have the program, just need the program that cuts out the necessity for registration...
^lol, I knew it'd take time... I don't plan on doing something incredible.
Just be cool to know, or even cooler to open up somebody else's gun and edit it my own way (for myself obviously, not going to call it my own :/ )

Once you have the programs, go the sourceblog.net and you can get tutorials, you can also go to pixel2life.com for tutorials. mostly for skinning you just make a texture and apply it to the model.
