Don't know if any of you use these, but as innaccurate as they are they're still good at giving you a rough performance score of your PC, and they're pretty nice to look at too. Warning: Depression caused by low score is a known side-effect of useage.

Judging from your specs I'd guess you'll get around the same as mine, probably a few more thanks to your 2 gigs of RAM.

Here are my crappy scores...
SM 2.0: 881
HDR: N/A
CPU:892
Oh yes, I also notices on the Futuremark system information that is says my CPU's architecture is a 64 bit...
Intel P4 with HT, is it the HT?
TheEndless
Jan 20 2006, 01:42 AM
fileplanet will not let you have that kind of speed, i don't know about the ones who pays for their service, but if you are using free public servers, there is no way they will let you have such speed, it will crash their server big time if everybody does that.

Well I got that speed for a spike of 13 seconds, then it dropped to 1500 for 3 minutes. The rest was at 900...
It happened, no doubt about it pal...
TheEndless
Jan 20 2006, 01:58 AM
now you are talking.. i always start downloading stuff at the speed of 5000kb/s but then it kept dropping and dropping till like 700-800kb/s. The way you said 2500kb/s seemed like it is the constant speed.

As for 64-buit you probably have one of the Prescott socket 775s which have 64-bit extensions.

Overclocking the card and CPU to overheating levels, disabling all programs and services that aren't essential, a few small driver modifications, the usual stuff really.

Jan 22 2006, 08:32 PM
It looks like a pretty good score, just your CPU score is kinda low. But thats what happens with a 3.0 gig processor. But it dosent really matter, as long sa you can run the great games, which im sure your able to.
And El, I personally find it rediculous that someone would want dual 7800GTX's. I mean if you can afford it and really want it thats great but... Honestly who really needs it. i think 180 FPS in source is MORE than enough. lol
Jamoche
Jan 22 2006, 08:41 PM
The cpu test was joke really, it was rendering about 1 frame every 10 seconds. I think tonight i might clean out my fans and set them on maximum. Overclock some stuff and see if i can get around 2500.
