Hey all,

I just spent about 6 hours of my day playing Risk: Godstorm and Risk: LotR with a few friends, it's summer, there's nothing else to do, and I've got to say it was a blast. Anyway, it put me in the mood to buy a few new board games for lazy days in my college dorm. I was just wondering if you guys knew any good ones in the Risk/Axis & Allies categories. I'm thinking I'll get the Risk: Star Wars Original Trilogy edition, Risk 2210 A.D. and Axis & Allies: D-Day. I have the original A&A game and I think I'm going to get A&A: Europe off of a friend for cheap... I also wanted to get the Risk: LotR expansion set but I have no idea where to find it.

Do you guys have any recommendations/advice on the games I'd like to get, and do any of you know good places to buy board games online?

I've never lived in the States before so I don't really know where to look for stuff like this, I suppose a hobby shop would be my best bet, but I'm not sure they'd have what I want. Anyway, My questions still stand.

Monopoly, I'm the fucking master at that game. No one in my family will play with me because i end up owning at least half the board minimum.
You could always try Dungeons and Dragons, i personally never played it. But it is one of the few games i can think of off the top of my head.

You could always try one of them naughty games, you roll the dice, and land on a spot and have to do some kinky sexual position or something.

the settlers of catan is an alright game, also try zombies.

I tried Warhammer... I like painting but fuck playing, it's a chore.

Expensive and time consuming...

However quite a few people play with unfinished models. Or you could always buy premade/painted ones on ebay I guess.

I second settlers. Dare I say the battlestar galatica board game is supposed to be actually really fun. I wouldn't buy too many of the Risk based ones though but by what you enjoy.
