Hey! happy.gif

In recent days I've been happily installing new skins to CS: Source & playing with all the new weapons - terrific fun! laugh.gif

I do have a query though, and one which didn't seem to be covered (at least, directly, as far as I could tell - I could well be wrong though) in either the "readme"'s accompanying the downloads or in the site's FAQ section... mellow.gif

When installing new "Player" skins, the only ones I seem to be able to change are the "Default" (?) selection - that is, selection number "1" on the menu (normally a CT Seal Team 6, or for the T's a Phoenix Connection). Is there a way to change the skins *other* than the defaults (for example, changing the SAS or Arctic Warrior skins)? If so, how may I implement it? *Please bear in mind my computer skills are not the best, so an idiot-proof answer would likely be the most helpful - apologies for the inconvenience.*

Many thanks! wink.gif

Oh, the skins we have in stock here seem to be a bit outdated and the only player skins at the time were just those two models. If you want skins for ones other than those two, try FPS Banana.

Along the right hand side there's a massive column of categories.

I would stay off that site at the moment, currently members of our forums have been getting viruses from the ads. That was of last night, i dunno how it is this morning.

Hmm... seems to be okay for now. It was down for a while earlier, so they may have been doing some fumigating. Nothing has popped-up on my virus checkers... huh.gif

Thanks for the recommendation on that site - I successfully downloaded a number of skins for weapons, & some for player-bots. Some worked, some didn't, and it was a process of trial and error. In the end, I seem to have accidentally put together a mish-mash of different camoflage-clad player skins for all models which fit together really well & clearly distinguish between both sides while providing good variations between all the models on each. This was possibly achieved via installing several different uniform packs one over the other. Messy process, but good result. laugh.gif
