all i got in my cg folder is:

buypresets_ct.vdf
buy presets_ter.vdf
config.cfg
user.scr
and a valve.rc

help pls?

Make a text file with the commands up top and rename it autoexec.cfg

Make sure you also have show file extensions enabled in control panel but I believe that you already have it checked.
