Hey, so I decided to buy Castle Crashers and I was wondering if any of you had it as well. I know a bunch of us have GeomWars2 as well so I guess we could use this thread for stuff like that as well. But yeah, Castle Crashers anyone?

I heard it was good but haven't been arsed to try it.

Its a beat-em-up that is great with friends, however I doubt it would fit your style of games as anything other then a casual play.

infinity ward will be releasing the original call of duty.

Well that's nice if they include multiplayer but, ehhhh. 1st person shooters have evolved too much in certain aspects. However if they are as timeless as HL1 is to me then I might check them out if others on the site do, but as games themselves I'm not really interested.

I'd buy Perfect Dark if it came out. That would be awesome. Castle Crashers gets two thumbs up from me, but it's a definite multiplayer game. I'd love to play through it with you guys if you're at all interested. There's loads of unlocks, it's a long game, the achievements are fun and the game contains a solid control base and some pretty bizarre, yet very entertaining humor.

Yeah Perfect dark was awesome. I would like to see goldeneye too, but we all the outcome of that =/

I just bought MTG: Duels of the Planeswalkers and it's great. At 800 points it's a steal if you like strategy; there are a multitude of different game types, decks and unlocks. There's guaranteed DLC out for it in the future, and the achievements are fun to get, if you're into that sort of thing. I love it right now and I'm really looking for a few people to play online with. My only complaint is that people tend to quit out of online matches when they see they're going to lose. In two of my first three games online, after I had sufficiently pummeled my opponent into defenseless submission they quit out of the match before my elves and I could have our way with them. It's frustrating to have to carefully plan out every move of a 20+ minute game only to have victory (and thusly also achievements) snatched right out from under you. It really is a lot of fun though, at least trial it even though it's a definite buy in my book. I need a few clever people to play online with. We could even team up instead of fight each other if you guys would prefer that .

well i got bored of most of the games i have so idecided to spend 1200 points on battlefield 1943.
played the demo for the 30 min trial and i enjoyed it, nice to have planes back in the game. 3 maps so
far and a fourth will unlock when the xbox live and ps3 community kill 43 million people or so.
i haven't been able to get on any servers yet due to a higher then expected number of people buying
this game but they are getting more servers online so i'll be able to play soon enough. I'm still
not that impressed with the frostbite engine, still doesn't feel like a true battlefield game.

Let me know how it goes, I'm looking for some new games to play.

I actually like it. Destruction is fun, although it doesn't let you dismantle some structures. I played the tutorial just bombing the shit out of everything for like 45 minutes, and then servers actually opened up.

By the way, I picked up PGR4 as well, so we can play that tomorrow or something.

Anyone got Shadow Complex? For some reason I can't beat the game. I get to what I'm guessing is the final waypoint on the map (on a cliff) and nothing happens. I wait for a while but no helicopters come, there's no cutscene, nothing. I figured it might be because I'm missing one piece of the suit. The final piece. Anyone know how to get it?

I don't know what's wrong with your game, but thanks for telling me you were just finishing up on it and about to come play with me, only to leave me waiting around here for an hour while you tried to figure it out, dickhead.

I've got it, but I haven't played it too much. I've just found Claire paralyzed and hidden her behind those crates. I'm playing on hardcore, and there was one area with 6-7 guys, a few guys on three separate balconies, a couple in that fucking weird back area where they try to make it 3D-ish, and then a couple on the floor. I beat it, go past it, get killed. Have to do it again. Beat it, get past it, get killed, have to do it again. Almost broke my controller in raeg, but that's a good thing because I've been wanting some challenging games. Anyway finally got past it and now I'm... in the underground bunker thing. Fuck I don't know, but I'm pretty far past the part I described earlier.

Side note, I also picked up 'Splosion Man. Extremely fun and challenging. If anyone wants a fun but simple game I'd suggest downloading the trial and trying it out. I still haven't finished it due to a lack of playing my 360, but on the first play through the par times look absolutely insane. I guess you have to remember the damn level by heart and run it again. At least it's a good incentive to go for a second playthrough.

Apparently they have put it on the xbox live marketplace, slightly improved the graphics and added multiplayer.

I know that the good citizens of CSDL don't really go for XBLA titles aside from Braid and GeoWars 2, but I keep seeing things pop up around the internet and I can't help but post them.

Perfect Dark is being re-released next month for $10 on the XBLA with HD graphics and added 4 player co-op as well as online play. What do you guys think?

I love XBLA games. It's just I already played most of the XBLA re-releases to death in their original form, they don't interest me as much as newer concepts.

Speaking of this, anyone intersted in zeno clash? Relevant due to release on marketplace either currently or in the near future.
