first of all, i read the faq but unfortunately that didnt solve my problem, as the skins work fine after some copying anf renaming but i cannot figure out some of the sounds included in the packages.

i downloaded some skins, most of all the top rated ones. i extracted the files creating new folders, just like the faq instructed me.

with some packages, like the "Steel's Colt 1911 + Quad's anims " there were no issues at all.
but with other i got some problems.

sometimes the firing sounds just wont work and i cannot find a way to bring them into the game. the mag release \ put in does work but i still got the old firing sound althogh theres a new one in the package.
in cs 1.6 it was easy, as you could actually see the files you had to exchange.

i dl a package for the sig552 including sounds. its an AK skin, so the firing sound for example is named "ak47_1.wav" located in the folder
Steam\steamapps\**********counter-strike source\cstrike\sound\weapons\sg552.

the files for mag release ect are located in the same folder and tehy work, but cs:s just doesnt use my new firing sound.

any help is appreciated
