Had my "new" PC for almost two years now. Its been pretty good <3

Spec Ive had the last two years:

Asus Striker Extreme
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
2GB RAM DDR2
POV GeFORCE 8800 GTS 320MB

Just got Empire Total War and having trouble running it, so I guess the gfx have caught up with my pc.

Ordered:
Asus P6T Deluxe, X58, Socket-1366, DDR3
Intel Core i7 920
Corsair Dominator DDR3 1GB (3 of them).
XFX GeForce GTX 285 670M 1GB PhysX CUDA (Will be ordering a second one later after the price has gone down a bit).

Will also order this when I get my 2nd gfx card:
Corsair Powersupply 1000W Black

What do you guys think? Does it look ok or?

Looks pretty damn good to me, you should have no trouble running it or any games. I have a similar setup (ATi 4850 though) and everything runs beautifully.

I'm surprised you went to upgrade so quickly though. If anything I would have just grabbed a new graphics card and a little more ram and you would be set. But hey, that stuff you ordered will make you drool when you get it all setup, no question.

Happy to hear that it all looks ok tongue.gif Would suck if I had managed to order parts etc that didnt work together etc >.<

Just got like 1,1k back from the goverment.

Annual Tax settlement thingy or whatever, like, if youve paid too much or too little tax,

you either get money back, or have to pay extra tax.

I got 1,1k and I was like:

"Thaaaaaanks"

Figured id spend it all on my beloved PC <3
