Thanks, i'm thinkin about going to the zoo tomorrow, taking the zoomlens and all that with me and maybe get some good shots.

Last night, one of the guys at work brought his brand new camera with him to show it off, lol

The pictures were fucking mint, but it cost about 800 pounds.

Currently considering buying myself something simular.....but dunno if I should bother, since I'm not really that into photography.

You could even get a low end DSLR or if you like the point and shoot deal, but want better quality you could go with a bridge camera or a SLR-Like camera.

Got back from our shitty zoo, most of the animals where gone due to the winter, however i did manage to rack up over 655 shots.

So i went to the zoo today, had a pretty good time. Took over 655 pictures within a few hours, not posting all of em, just the quality ones that i think are post worthy.

Used EOS XSi w/ CPL Filter, UV Filter, 70-300mm Zoomlens, and the standard lens.

Also most of you know photography is expensive at the start, and it gets worse as you move on. I need to find a Horseshoe flash, and that will cost me 250-300 minimum for a good flash. =/ I also want to get my hands on a Wide angle lense, and macro 1:1 lenses. And later on ill try to get some portrait gear.

See the thing is, with my jeep it can and will roll really really easy. But the jeep is still good for sports utility, i can do some light towing, go off road (Dur it is a jeep) and all that fun stuff.

The 2nd picture is taken from the side of the fjord, opposite of the side where I live.

Pretty shitty place really, loads of junkies and drunks and shit live there, lawl.

The first picture is my side of the fjord. The houses and stuff you see across the sea in the 2nd picture, are basically the same houses that are in picture one ^^

I guess there's a resemblance. At least a thousand miles off the real lost coast locales, though.

The Lost Coast reference was from Italy, was it not?

I guess the buildings in it do have an Italian feel to them, though I think that may be because they're taken from the Anzio map in DoD:Source...

But in regards to the City 17 area in general it's just a mishmash of eastern Europe that's presumably set either on the Baltic or Adriatic coast.

Weather was really nice today (as it has for a week or two now ) and I had today off work, so decided to get on my bike and go on a lil trip down the fjord.

Didnt bring my camera though, wish I had cuz there was loads of good places to shoot. Only had my shitty cell cam >.<

I'm not camera elitist at all, photos are photos, and art is art to me. Everyone does it differently. But the phone's camera didn't do you any justice, but you got to use what you have.
