there`s alot of different type of counter strike version, so i dontknow which one should i buy. i just want the version that is the one u guys are playing, not the oldest. is it counter strike source? again when i`m chose CCS there`s more than 1 option again http://store.steampowered.com/app/240/ so which one should i buy? CSS 1.6? i plan to pay $30 at most. i`m lost, somebody please help me, thanks in advance... waiting patiently

None of us are really playing Counter Strike of any sort anymore. I think Scud is the only one who really plays it.

If you really want Counter-Strike then get CSS. I recommend ditching CS though, it's outdated and people cheat out the wazoo. Go for Team Fortress 2 or Left 4 Dead.

If you really wanted all of em, you could just buy the complete pack for 30 bucks.

But, if you want the one most people play. Just get CSS. It is the "Newest" counter strike.

Uh, CSS can't be out of stock if you buy it off of STEAM. It is digital download.

Counter Strike Source for the win

Reasons:
- Easy Gaming
- Lots of Maps
- Has the Most Choices of Skins (which you can get addicted to)
- Medium - High Graphics
- Not Really laggy compared to Call of Duty 4 and games that are high graphics
- LAN (2 Computers in LAN can use the same account and play each other because I do that)
- Sort of Funny

anybody know why my css can't change player skins.My player skins just have terror and urban only.I want have ct_urban,ct_sas,ct_gsg9,ct_gign,t_pheonix,t_leet,t_guerilla and t_arctic. PLEASE HELP ME WHY MY CSS CAN'T CHANGE PLAYER MODEL

Yeah, you shouldn't really get CS:S, it's got too many hackers. you should try other games like L4D.
