Alright so, I''m at a friend''s house and it''s about 2 am and two buddies and I were relaxing, playing guitar hero, when suddenly we wanted tacos from Jack in the Box (say what you will, we love them). We go into my car, get gas, get our food and park back at my buddy''s house. By this time it was about 2:30-2:40. I park my car (had to park on the street, parking lot was full) and we start walking to my buddy''s house. As we cross the street we see a white Hyundai with a shattered window. We check it out and I noticed that it happened pretty recently as the window was still cracking. Me and my buddies were thinking, ''that sucks,'' and then a guy, about a story above us, sees us walking past the car says to us ''yeah, that''s my roommate''s car, some ****ers are going around breaking windows, same thing happened last night, looking to steel ****'' and I noticed about two car lengths away, there''s broken glass everywhere. After about 5 seconds after (no exaggeration) the guy who told us about what happened screamed, ''THERE THEY ARE!'' pointing behind us and there was a car driving up slowly to MY car and I see them stop right next to it. I yelled for them to back the **** off and I heard a crack and then they gun it.

The car, I couldn''t really tell what it was, all I knew was that it looked to be a late 90''s early 00''s Japanese car. I was trying to get a license plate number, even just a few digits or numbers. The guy talking to us jumped down with a hammer telling us how the white Hyundai was his roommate''s and that the same guys were doing the same thing last night. I called the cops, told them what had happened, where it happened, where I was and a sheriff pulled up about less than 5 minutes later (he came from the north, which I thought was odd considering the nearest station was south of us). Sheriff pulled up to us and we then told him everything that happened and about 30 minutes later, we were good to go. Scared as I was, I go to check my car. Nothing damaged, I was so relieved. The crack that I heard came from the white Hyundai''s broken window, the timing was just too perfect. They had to of been looking for something to steal or else they would have just smashed my window right there. I checked around the car for any damage, windows, doors for dents, anything. From what the moonlight showed, everything was how it was before.

If we had left sooner, just 5 minutes sooner, my car would have gotten broken into, stereo stolen, possibly the subs if they saw them, hell, maybe even the car if they knew how to hot wire and drive stick. I told my friend ''yo dude, I don''t think I''m going to be coming here at night anymore. Maybe if I can get a ride or you pick me up or something.'' If we hadn''t left at all, my parking spot in the parking lot would not have been gone and we would have been totally oblivious as to what''s been going on at that street. Apparently it happens a lot there, and I''ve been hanging out there leaving my car overnight on that street for months. An hour and a half later...here I am, telling y''all the story.

I was so scared when they pulled up to my car.

See the sad thing is, even if you call the police, most of the time they're not to reliable or helpful. And what damage has been done, has been done.

Also in America, most idiots believe that violence solves everything. Perfect example would be the kids that shoot up schools - Get made fun of, get really pissed. But US will never get a gun ban/restriction because people believe that they should always have the right to have firearms. I think it should be a privilege that you have to earn, kinda like driving and such.

Our constitution needs to be updated some how, and make it fit for a more modern society.

Police are also worthless in the town I live in because they take their sweet time showing up to the scene. Then they give you shit for telling them off when they should be searching for the degenerates that were giving you trouble.
