Ok, this is a thread to set up official dates and times for various games. So try to keep all events in a nice order and clear for everyone.

Left 4 Dead - PC

Friday-Saturday (01/09-01/11)
It officially starts on Friday between 6-7 PM US Central Time, and on Sunday and Saturday don't matter the time, just need to get people on. If we need to organize we can start a party on xfire and get the amount of people we need.

We will be playing all levels on expert. We will do co-op, and later on we will do Verses if we get plenty of people. So we will need at least 8 people for verses.

I say set it up for 9pm pacific, which would be 8pm central,7pm eastern and I believe 1pm GMT respectively, as to allow the peoples from the other side of the world to play as well. :33

In all honesty I doubt Scud will play (as much as I wish he did), and I don't think Rifleman, Shaun, etc. have L4D anyway.

Why should anyone PM? You said yourself this thread is for arranging times. I've communicated very clearly in 3 separate posts your times are no good.
If you want to set up a game, it's your job to at the very least do your part by coming up with a base time that is acceptable and fair for all parties, which can be negotiated as needed. Not one that immediately renders half of potential players asleep.

We always compensate our playtimes for you when organising things, why is it you guys never do the same for us? I don't know if it's common knowledge over there, but we are actually human beings, and we wouldn't want to wait up till 3AM just to play a few rounds of a game anymore than you lot would. Is it so difficult to remember that, and put yourselves out an hour or two so at the very least not to fall into your stereotypes as inconsiderate and inflexible shits? I know overcoming the Americunt nature is difficult and we may need to work on your perception that time revolves around the USA, but trust me timezones themselves aren't all that hard...

Uhm, well like I said we are human too so any hour of the day you'd find it acceptable to play is likely acceptable for us too - You've just got to work those shared acceptable hours into timezone differences.

E.g.

You wouldn't organise a game that set yourself up to be playing at 2AM, so don't set us up to.

Ok then, next time i will suggest a time frame, and see how people like it and if it works it will be the official time.

Anyway this weekend don't have any specific times, just whenever people are on we will get a game going.

As I am currently patching my Tribes 2 after playing a bit of the tutorial to see if it would run, I am going to see about how we can play with/against one another. Who is up for some vintage MP game action this weekend Thursday-Saturday (time to be determined) ?

That would be me - When you can only organise a game with Guns, Sorrow, or Wolf, usually at about 3AM, on shitty Kansas servers, with a 75% failure/someone didn't show up rate, and a 100% chance Guns drops from the game/couldn't resist alerting the witch and gets everyone killed anyway... you know you need new friends in your own country with the game.

Anyway, count me out of versus as it just kills all immersion, continuity through the campaign, and teamwork. It just becomes about rushing from A to B as fast as possible then even if you don't make it starting the next stage with full health and ammo. Snore. I don't mind it when I'm playing alone or can only play for a short time though.

I'd like to get some Gears 2 going to get all the way through horde if you guys are up for it. I have monday off from school and then of course my weekend is Fri-Sat.

Alright, El. I have a bunch of friends over here who have the game and who are pretty good but I'd like to get a CSDL attempt going. If nobody here signs up it's not tragic though, I'll just get some more of my buds. Thing is that might be really laggy.
