Hi guys - may be a stupid question, but I used to play too much CS...many years ago and I was totally addicted, but I have not played for a couple of years now at least.
I was wondering if CS:Source can be bought for the PS3? After a couple of searches I can't find it, but you never know. If it's not possible to buy the game for the PS3 does anyone know if it is possible to download the game and run it through the PS3?
FINALLY! - If none of the above are possible, can anyone recommend a game of a similar mould for the PS3? I have been looking for a CS replacement for years but have never found a suitable one! None of them live up to the standard!
Thanks for the help!

CS:S is PC only. Closest you'll get is CS:CZ on the Xbox.

Yeah it is....too many aliens for me I guess. I'm too fussy. Love CS and miss all the online action and leagues - maybe this will do for now.
Thanks

I recommend it. The gameplay is hardly similar but it's great none the less, you'll probably enjoy it.

Yeah, it is good stuff. Might not be like CSS, but you will enjoy some aspect of it.

Everyone went a bit nuts? Groundhog day.
I've decided to sod it and I'm downloading CS:Source from Steam at the mo. Thought I could get going with some CS action now (my booked day off work) but it's going to take FOUR HOURS! WTF. Should have just gone to Game. Best dig out my optical mouse and easyglide mat, I'm not exactly pushed for time. I'm going to be like a kid waiting for Christmas for the next four hours. Then I'll get mauled, and depressed cos I'm now shit at CSS. God damned it!

You play in any leagues? Also, yeah, if it takes you 4 hours to download CSS, I can safely say your internets is slooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwer than slowpoke.

Used to play at Uni (4 years ago!). It said it may take up to 4 hours to download, but it's going at between 350 - 415kb/s so hopefully won't take that long. 18% done atm. Bewst get looking for that mouse & mat!

If you haven't got any other Source games on your PC it would make sense that it's so long, as it has to obtain the engine/shared assets/etc. too, and then the game-specific assets. On the upside any other games using them will be a smaller download.

Mouse ready! It has taken a battering, and been in the garage for four winters though....time to see if it still works.

Steam is just the program, Source is the engine that games mainly by Valve (TF2, CSS, HL2, etc.) are based on.
In other words FM2009 isn't a Source game / It's big because you have to download the Source engine along with CSS.
