http://news.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=08...40&from=rss"A host of common chemicals is feminizing males of every class of vertebrate animals, from fish to mammals, including people. Many have been identified as 'endocrine disruptors' or gender-benders because they interfere with hormones. Communities heavily polluted with gender-benders in Canada, Russia, and Italy have given birth to twice as many girls as boys, which may offer a clue to the mysterious shift in sex ratios worldwide. And a study at Rotterdam's Erasmus University showed that boys whose mothers had been exposed to PCBs grew up wanting to play with dolls and tea sets rather than with traditionally male toys. It also follows hard on the heels of new American research which shows that baby boys born to women exposed to widespread chemicals in pregnancy are born with smaller penises and feminized genitals. It is calculated that 250,000 babies who would have been boys have been born as girls instead in the US and Japan alone. And sperm counts are dropping precipitously. Studies in more than 20 countries have shown that they have dropped from 150 million per milliliter of sperm fluid to 60 million over 50 years."
So... discuss?

This was already in the news over here years ago, they even discovered species of fish that were actually dying out as there were hardly any males. I seem to remember the contraceptive pill being a major contributor for it, as after it's done in the body the oestrogen just gets pissed out straight into the water system, where inevitably we all end up drinking it.
Infact most of the health conditions that have 'mysteriously' appeared and/or grown rapidly over the last few decades, from allergies to mental health issues, can nearly all be blamed on the increasing cocktail of chemicals people have started to mindlessly surround themselves and their families in from the womb, and the authorities are so eager to rush out they don't consider the long term consequences of exposure.

more women per guy? not quite.. they will still be just as picky and will not like "sharing"
so would this also explain the increased rates of homosexuality and anti-sexuality?
glad i get my water from a well in the middle of nowhere..

That's even worse, animals are stuffed full of all kinds of antibiotics and hormones to modify growth while they're being reared. Organic is best.

Seriously, people have no idea how much fucking antibiotics, hormones, steroids cattle are getting. If you eat a live stock that is mass produced and such and then eat a home grown live stock (Just natural growth) you can even taste the difference.
